Bunganut Lake is a kid friendly Lake with a couple of campsites and a public beach area for the little ones. We've found there to be tons of kayaking and biking in the area as it's centrally located between Biddeford, kennebunk and Kennebunkport! Although we didn't stay at the campground itself we look forward to summer nights on the lake!

We arrived at the campgrounds on a Tuesday and stayed for two nights. We got campsite B19. All the "B" sites are the closest to the water and they are up on a hillside. That being said, all the sites are flat and are awesome for tents because there are no large rocks (smaller than a nickel). We did not...

The negative about the campground. The map your handed when you arrive is unclear. The bathrooms are spread out no paths through to get to them. Golf carts are traveling way to fast on roadways. The seasonal occupants quickly run their chairs to claim their spots on beach leaving little space for the visitors. Nothing posted about bathroom cleaning times...

After reading some of the reviews posted, I felt I should write something as this will be my third season camping in our trailer at Bunganut Campground. Before choosing this campground, we looked and visited over 15 places around the Sebago Lakes area south. Some were pretty and had many amenities but felt over priced, others had the campsites lined...

We spent a week here and found it to be all that should be expected in a campground. The bathrooms were clean, the sites were level, the camp store sold all the basics at reasonable prices, the staff and seasonal residents were very friendly, the lake was gorgeous and the swimming area was well maintained. The only negative thing I...

There appears to be a favoritism to those that stay there longer versus someone that comes for the long weekend. I happened to be very disturbed by the long term campers that would ride their golf cart (after drinking heavily) to the beach and just sit there and watch folks while acting as a sort of police for the area,...

After spending a season there, it was a complete waste of money. Here is my review... 1) The husband/wife team running it are two of the rudest people I've met. 2) The hired help is anything but helpful. 3) Absolutely nothing for the kids to do. The rec hall is a joke. 4) Bathrooms are terrible. You have to keep...

We stayed in the beach cabin. It was the best of both worlds, campground for the kids to have some freedom while staying dry indoors when it rained. The bed springs were a bit pokey. But heck this is camping! The lake is gorgeous. The swimming area has a fun dock for the kids to play off of and is...
