The Balboa is a gem! They had a driver pick us up at the airport, which was good because we got in after dark. The airport pick up is worth it. Room was clean, with a queen bed, and a nice hot water shower. They serve breakfast in the morning out on the patio, where you can see birds and...

My husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary in Panama recently. We spent four nights at the Balboa Inn and were pleasantly surprised by the "Happy Anniversary" bottle of complimentary wine set out for us in our room - what a nice touch! The service was great from breakfast to cleaning to helping us organize and plan some of...

My husband and I and 2 friends were arriving in Panama City and then leaving the next day for Bocas del Toro. We needed something for just the one night that wasn't extravagantly priced. The Balboa was perfect. Upon first arriving we were rather skeptical but after stepping into the foyer and being greeted so warmly we knew we were...

Balboa Inn was interesting. By interesting, I don't mean to use a generic adjective. I really mean "interesting"! We have never stayed in a place like it. They provided wi-fi, a fridge for guests to put their drinks, 24 hour staff availability, help with transportation and directions if needed, a neighborhood location, and good breakfast. You really can't go wrong...

My wife and son stayed for nine days. They should improve the bath rooms with towel rakes that will hold towels and shelves to hold personal items. The safe is a joke because it is not secured to anything. There aren't any place to hang ones clothes so must live out of your suit case. They need suit casse racks....

We had language difficulty. Gina and all the staff were excellent helping us in every way. I'm very grateful. We were not into nightlife. The BB has about the perfect location. Going from/to the airport was quick (non-rush hours of course). Walking to Amador Causeway. Walking distance to Albrook airport (but not walkable because of the highways). Very easy to...

My wife and I stayed in the Balboa Inn for ten nights during our recent two-week trip to Panama. Both of us prefer the more intimate environment of a bread and breakfast to a hotel, and this one certainly more than met our expectations. It is in a quiet residential neighborhood in the former Canal Zone very near the city...

My husband and I stayed at the Balboa Inn the beginning of May. We found it on trip advisor and took a chance. We really enjoyed the home surrandings and the quiet area. I am so glad we didn't stay in down town Panama City as noisey and dirty. Alot of thing to do just a taxi ride away. Great...

Stayed end of May and June for 2 - 3 Days each. Staff was exceptionally friendly and extremely helpful. Took care of our every need. Helped with directions and suggestions of places to go and see. Service was great. Room was clean and neat and kept that way. Balboa Inn is the perfect spot for the first time visitor to...

Yes, that is how I feel about the Balboa Inn - for several reasons. It is a very nice place with a friendly and helpful staff, and it's in a safe and quiet area of the city! I had occasion to travel all over Panama for 3 months earlier this year, and after my first stop at the Balboa Inn...
