Detailed Reviews
The service is excellent especially when you compare the price. They are waiting you with smile, kindly offer their help, I gave the maximal credit for them. The swimming pool is not big, it is shallow, but it is an amenity I enjoyed after visiting the city. Breakfast is not so diverse, but overall it is ok. Air-conditions are new, rooms are clean. Actually, if you are mid-budget travelling, it is a highly recommended option. Metro station is just 8 minutes from the hotel, you are 20 minutes at most from Casco Viejo. The prices in their Birgarten are little overpriced.

Went there back in October of 2019 but the date would not allow us to farther back from 2023. A few cons are listed below:
The room server providing service enters the wrong tip amount (usually higher than what we said we would provide).
The safe was locked, but the hotel would attempt to claim we used it and charge us for it.
- Water in the bathroom would take a while to get warmer, even if the country is tropical, water from the shower still comes out extremely cold.
- Reception is not the best, the staff do not smile or have a feeling that they are pleased with your presence.
- Other than the above, the amenities were great.

We stayed several nights in this hotel, each time spaced between a few getaways. The staff have always been very friendly and understanding: I left luggage in storage each time without it causing any problem and they even accepted a storage facility when I was changing hotels.
The rooms are rather spacious, I advise you to ask for those overlooking the swimming pool.
The swimming pool is large and beautiful and well planted, it is starting to lose its tiles but that does not detract from the really very relaxing side of the place.
The breakfast is sensational, the gentleman who takes care of the well-being of the tourists is adorable.
A tip to management: put wine glasses in the rooms or allow the bar to give out empty glasses. This is the only hotel I have been to in my life where they refused to give me empty wine glasses on the pretext that I was going to drink wine not purchased in the hotel.
Congratulations: the free luggage storage is very useful for travelers.
I recommend !!!

We are a couple coming from Belgium . After having asked a quiet room, the hotel placed us in a room at the second floor. Around 9 pm in the evening, the nightclub which is just below and we do not know existed, started their unbearable electronic music until 4 am in the morning, totally preventing us to sleep…. Even more, at 7.30 in the morning a huge noisy engine motor is making unbearable noise under our window preventing us once again to rest. As far as I am concerned, it is absolutely unacceptable to offer rooms which are just above a nightclub knowing that the customer will be in the impossibility to rest normally …. Completely unacceptable ! Also after 8.30 you won’t be able to enjoy a breakfast as the fruit has disappeared and what remains is not qualitative.

As a first impression, the common areas of this hotel are really neat. Seating and nooks everywhere, very cleverly decorated. I loved it! Wow! Maybe a new favorite hotel in Panama City.
Then, we went to the room. What a disappointment! I've been fortunate to have been able to travel more than most, and to many countries. Without a doubt, this was the single MOST INCONVENIENT room I've ever stayed in. This tiny room had 2 queen size beds and a miniature version of a desk. There was not enough room for a chair at the mini-desk, so there was only a hassock to sit on. If there are 2 of you, and one is sitting on the hassock at the desk, the other person can't pass from one side of the room to the other without disturbing the person sitting. There were 2 electric outlets, placed as inconveniently as possible. Neither one was near the desk; no place to plug in a laptop while using it. And of course the usual amenities that I'm used to seeing in a 4-star hotel room, like a comfortable chair, a mini-fridge and a coffee-maker, etc. were not included. And indeed there was no room to put such items.
The wonderful common areas are not enough to offset the sparseness of the room. I'm still looking for a new favorite hotel in P City.

The location of the hotel as well as the services offered are very good. Very nice swimming pool and jaccuzi, very good and varied breakfast. Interior design and a bar side that does not reflect the rooms part at all.
The room that we had been obsolete and deserves a renovation, the carpeted floor stained, the shower mixer broken, the air conditioning makes a sound of hell!!!
We fell one night from BBQ, the hotel was lively, music, singing. It didn’t stop us from sleeping after making a Panama Paris flight but it could be disturbing for other travelers.
For us this hotel is suitable for one night stay but no more.

The striking exterior hides a multitude of sins. Well maintained and visually appealing common areas. However, once you get into the lifts you begin to see how bad things really are. Peeling plasterboard, sticky tape to hold bits together, old, stained, musty carpets, fittings that hang off the walls, equipment that doesn't work, atrocious views unless you're lucky with your room. Noisy parties in their terrace, traffic noise and single glazing stop you being able to sleep. Reception staff very unhelpful, insisting that booking.com bookings do not guarantee the chosen room. We had booked a luxury room for the advertised price, but apparently it wasn't available when we arrived and were given three options, two of which were not what we'd expected and yet cost us the same, the third was to find another hotel. Cooked breakfast was a joke. All in all pretty awful. We stayed in a much better and cheaper hotel at the beginning of our trip. Definitely one to avoid.

Room was ok but lacks a refrigerator. The worst part however is that as a guest of the hotel you get blocked off from the pool and the bar because they rent the area off for a private party, most of the Saturday. I guess they don’t care much for their guests.

The hotel is situated in a modern building on a secondary street at approx 100 m to the main street Via Espana. Very friendly stuff at the reception and the rooms as well the bathrooms are large, clean with all the equipment's in good state. The hotel is very convenient located close to the the Metro stations ( seemed to me equal distance to Via Argentina or Iglesia del Carmen ) as well to many bus lines which use Via Espana.
For those interested, the access from the hotel to the Airport can be done easily using the Metro up to the San Miguelito station, then changing to the second Metro line until Corredor Sur. From there is a shuttle bus which goes at the Airport arrivals/departures terminal. All these with a cost less than 1 USD. The reverse way is also possible, firs taking the bus and then the metro.

Whenever I choose a hotel I always read the reviews - good and bad (and there were a few bad ones!) On arrival I was impressed with the quirky, modern reception area. Check in was easy and the reception staff were helpful and friendly. I had to wait a bit for a room as I arrived early but there was complimentary water and comfy sofas. I was given a room on the 9th floor that gave a nice view of the city. The room was very clean, air conditioning, TV and WiFi worked well. The bathroom was small but adequate and had complimentary shampoo etc. Water pressure was good in the shower. The swimming pool was clean and pool towels were provided. Breakfast was buffet style that had cooked items, toast, fresh fruits, yoghurt, bread/rolls, ham and cheese.
If I could find one issue with this hotel it is the lack of seating at breakfast time. I had to wait for a table a couple of mornings so recommend you go early or after the rush has left.
The hotel has obviously taken on board the bad reviews and has made an effort to rectify them.
I would certainly recommend this hotel.
