We read all the previous reviews and decided to stay here. We requested a high floor with sea view. We got a 5th floor room with a stunning view of a construction site. The room was dank, smelly ,dark and needed to be demolished, We requested a different room and got a very nice room on the 1th floor. Much... More

This hotel, known to me as El Ejecutivo in Panama City, was a disappointment during my last stay that seemed to confirm a recent trend. I've stayed there a number of times but recently it seems to be slowly going downhill. The only really good aspects are a great buffet breakfast and a really great gin martini at the very... More

The good thing about this hotel is that the staff is friendly and from older reviews it is clear that this must always have been so. The hotel has a central location: for some good, but don't expect scenery around. The rooms remind me of hotels in Pakistan. The hotel must be from 1960 or earlier. Maybe in 1980 the... More

I did not want to spend a great deal of money on this holiday in Panama, and I booked the Executive for around $110 a night. Surprisingly, the best hotels in the city are quite expensive. The hotel is a tall building with good views over the city. Although everything works okay, everything is also run down! The carpet is... More

Spent one night at the Executive Hotel in Panama City. It was fine. It is obviously an older hotel. The rooms are on the small side as is the bathroom. The shower temperature was difficult to regulate. The TV had numerous channels. There was a balcony which had a fantastic view of downtown. Also all of the corridors were outside... More

We booked on the strength of previous reviews and although the hotel is excellently located it is definitely overpriced. Our room was clean and the small balcony had superb views of the city. However, it was noisy and we would not rush back. Staff were courteous and friendly and the breakfasts were more than adequate.

An average high-rise business-type hotel in a good downtown location of the commercial/business district. The "free" wifi in the lobby was very time limited but available for a price in the rooms. Rooms comfortable and functional with work desk and so forth. Lobby cafe was just average in quality and menu selection. Reception mostly helpful. Quietess on the upper floors... More

We spent one night at the Executive Hotel after leaving a cheaper hotel that we were not very happy with. The staff at the front desk were friendly. Our room was very clean, bright, and comfortable, if a little bit noisy with street noise (a common problem in Panama City). Turning on the AC helped. We were on the third... More

I was in Panama City during the peak time of the year where most hotels were booked due to the rain-free weather and Carnaval. Executive Hotel was worth the special rate I got on Expedia, and it was a great package. The breakfast was filling and delicious, there was free internet, the staff was very helpful and the room was... More

I stayed here two nights, June 16th & 17th, 2006. I give this hotel 3-Stars. It is from the late 1970's to early 1980's design, but well maintained. The room was just big enough, with a great balcony. Had a good room safe, which is a big plus when traveling. The buffet breakfast was fine and filling. My room was... More
