We stayed here for two nights recently because it was fairly close to Tocumen Airport. Host Matteo could not have been more helpful with all our inquiries. The room was positively luxurious with a huge bathroom including a wonderful deep bath! Breakfast was served early for us because we were birders and wanted to be out early. There was a...

Awesome staff that will work with you even when your plans get messed up. We got the superior double room and I felt like I was in a castle after staying in other Panama City hostels. I took a damn bubble bath!!! Everything was great. Breakfast was fantastic. Hidden gem, so glad we found this place.

I would strongly recommend this place to anyone on any budget When i went to Panama i never thought that i was basically going to be made feel at home. The attentiveness makes you melt. You never lack for anything. The manager would really go out of his way to please you & so would the maids.

I spend the week end in casa Ramirez, relax and confort. there is new staff, all is repainted, clean and the new owners are very nice. The swimming pool is in a perfect position, with a good bar where you can relax in the hammock. Nothing compare to befor!

I booked three nights here but only stayed one. I thought it would be a lively place but it was the exact opposite. Their biggest error for me was breakfast...or lack of. I was told it was served from 7:30 to 11am. No one was to be found when I left my room at @8:00am. No coffee, fruit...nothing laid out....

We serve pancakes and fruit each morning for breakfast. Being a hostal we keep our breakfast basic and if guestas want anything more they can cook themselves. The breakfast is clearly stated as being pancakes and fruit so there should have been no dissapointment or confusion. In the low season as is common at any hostal we have less guests...

I chose Casa Ramirez (dorm rooms) based on its reviews and location. Overall, it met expectations but did not exceed them. Its location wasn't too bad. The only public transport was a bus (you have to buy a bus card from the supermarket (10mins walk), but the bus itself was very unreliable, especially on weekends. I'd recommend taxis in Panama...

Que Sopa! The staff was very polite and the building was spacious with a clean pool and nice bar with hammocks. I alternated between the private bunks and private room with shared bathroom. The location is good in that it is safe and you can walk to pubs, grocery stores and restaurants. I made friends here with both the staff...

“If you're high maintenance, then spend more and get a private room, otherwise the bunks are fine. There are free lockers for your valuables in the bunk/shared rooms AND the staff is honest and won't rip you off.”
