The reader that said it was a hostel were correct. It doesn't even have windows in the rooms!! You will notice that many of these 5 star comments come from Toronto or Canada. Hmmm???? Personally, this hostel (not a hotel) rates a "0", AS IT'S NOT A HOTEL. You will find no furniture in the room, expect a tv that...

Thanks God I just prepaid 4 days on "HOTWIRE" or I should say "HOTLIE".. When I got to the hotel they gave my a room with a broken A/C, my room was getting flooded for the water running down the wall from that A/C. The manager a big fat girl with no manners wanted me to stay on that room...

Reading all the mixed reviews about Hotel Santana I must admit I wasn’t sure Where I will end up… I rented a car and drove by the direction giving by Google to the hotel , I drove into a gated parking which connects to the hotel I felt secured and safe. The neighbourhood is old but I was really surprised...

The place in not a hotel, it's a hostel. The whole place seems to be built around people who read the good things the owner of the place spread around the net, and then stay just because they already pre-paid. The area (santa ana) is the worst it gets, just google it and see. It's near casco viejo but it's...

I made reservations for a 1 night stay. I am flexible but I draw the line at not having electricity! It is in a bad part of town, no electricity, & it is a hostel NOT a hotel. I would not bother with this one. To make it worse the hotel did not want to return my money as I...

This hotel which should be called a hostel is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The staff spoke no English so were not helpful at all. You cannot enter the hotel without being buzzed in, later I found out that is a hotel security feature because the hotel is situated in one of the worst parts of the town....

The stay in this hotel was very nice. Rooms are clean, staff was very helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is in old part of the Panama City (Casco Viejo). Bars and restaurants within walking distance. Continental breakfast was included in room price but we choose it from hotel's menu and that was amazing! Highly recommend if you...

The longer we stayed here the worse it got. The location is very poor and you take your life in your hands if you walk the local streets at night. To add to this the service and care in the hotel is poor. It was common for us to hear loud music being played by reception in the middle of...
