Upon arrival, they insisted that if we allowed them to stay with not only a toddler, but also a dog, that neither would be a problem. This certainly was not the case and they were asked to leave for their utter lack of respect. This couple violated several of our rules including allowing the dog to sleep in the bed...

Admittedly, when I arrived at La Jungla, I was a little upset about it. It is in a very weird location and didn't look like somewhere I wanted to be. However, after meeting the friendly staff and eating pancakes the next morning, I couldn't have been happier! The place has decent enough sleeping accommodations for budget travelers and it is...

It's true that it is a good place for meeting people and the balcony is very nice. Some problems are that the lower level had just 1 working bathroom for 20 people, very very cold showers, it's not very clean. The prvate double's are very very expensive for what you get. The phone numbers don't work (all 4 different ones...

You couldn't pick a better spot if you want to dine on Via Argentina or just walk the streets safely in good shopping district. The sleep quality is based on the air conditioned dorms on the first floor, the dorms upstairs are unbearably hot. I can't comment on the staff; there turnover is huge. I have visited five times, which...

I stayed for 3 nights in a private room at La Jungla Hostal. The atmosphere was very relaxing. The staff was very helpful and I especially enjoyed the free pancake breakfast that Marta prepared each morning. My room was clean and spacious, and the same goes for the bathrooms. From the Hostal a taxi ride to Albrook mall ran about...

We stayed here for three nights. The location is good but I wouldn't recommend to anyone. The double bed bunks (double below, single bed above) are barely bigger than a single. All the taps drip. The lounge area is scabby. The air conditioners have been removed. They charge you $5 when you check in "just in case you check out...

Very spacious hostel, with a great balcony and very friendly staff (except for the nightporter: I think he is unable to smile or something). Bookexchange, movies to watch, free breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hostel!

What can I say. Of all the places we've stayed in 3 years of travelling it is by far the worst. After booking online we arrived to find the unhelpful receptionist could not find our booking. We booked a double room with a private bathroom online only to find out once we were given the keys that no rooms in...

A brilliant hostel. We stayed for a week and it had a great location in Panama City, close to shops, restaurants, bars and nightlife, and was the perfect base for trips further afield - the staff offered excellent advice on and were extremely helpful in arranging trips to a local indigenous village and to the San Blas islands. The advice...
