The hostel is alright for a short stay in Managua and the communal area is nice with two hammocks and some chairs at the pool to enjoy the sun. The staff is friendly and helpful, only one guy (who works during the night shifts) isn't really guest orientated and I didn't felt welcomed when I checked in. The rooms are...

We apologize for the unfriendly experience you had with this individual during check-in. We take your comments seriously and will be making efforts to improve the service that we offer. Great location for a quick stay in managua. Close to metro centro and both main bus terminals. Nice area of managua which is fairly secure. Hostel is clean and offers lots of facilities like a kitchen, pool, computers etc. Dorms a but squishy and one fan for 8 beds is not okay but that is my only complaint. Staff were...

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to review our hostel. Glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay. We'll check the mattresses to see if they need to be replaced. Also, both of our 8-bed dorms have 2 fans, which includes one overhead fan and one large floor-based or wall-mounted fan. We'll check those to make sure they are in...

Hi, Thanks for providing your comments. I'd like to apologize for the confusion about your payment. We do in fact have a system to register all of our reservations and payments, but obviously, the receptionist at the time either didn't update the system correctly or was mistaken. Our apologies for the misunderstanding. Regarding the safety in the area...although the area...

Good for a short stay. Clean rooms, as well as the kitchen and the pool. It is close to a big mall. Pancake breakfast. They have a reliable shuttle-service to the airport. Not so much to do around the hostel.

Thank you for taking the time to review us. We're glad you enjoyed the amenities of the hostel. With a bit more time in Managua (perhaps a day or two), there are in fact things to do in the area. Besides venturing down to the water front and the historical center, there are also many restaurants, bars, parks and even...

This was the last accommodation on my holiday. The shuttle was convenient although quite a bit more expensive than a taxi. Biggest issue was that person at front desk said it was alright for me to drink out of taps. A couple of days later I was suffering pretty badly with a gastro bug. Very bad advice from guy at...

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to review the hostel. Just to clarify things...both of our kitchens offer filtered drinking water (the equipment is installed below the sink) and we have signs in both locations to indicate that the water is safe to drink. Although we filter the water in the kitchen, it's mainly as a precaution to prevent...

It was a good stopover for one night. Don't suggest staying more than this. The rooms were quite clean although they weren't perfect. This is a good hostel for the price being paid. Make sure your know where you're bussing too beyond this point

There is one word to describe that guy at reception and its not a good one, you can decide when you meet him! One word of advice, don't ask about washing. The hostel }(minus the staff) is pretty cool, good kitchen, good pool and a TV room. Perfect for a stop over to the airport. Tiny bit expensive.

We were able to arrive at anytime to check in which was great because our flight was coming in at 2am and the area seemed very safe so we felt fine arriving tbere so late. The guy working at the reception was not welcoming at all, and we did not get the room that we paid for (we got a 8-bed dorm instead of 3 beds). The windows in the dorm had no strings and we got bitten all night long. But the kitchens are satisfying and the place was clean.

My stay here was pleasant, however unfortunately their communication via email is poor. My flight was cancelled on the way to Managua, so I emailed them to ask if I could get a refund for the taxi I had arranged via them, or re-schedule it for another day. They have simply ignored my email and kept the $15. I have...
