This is a great place to stay, especially for anyone on business who needs a desk at night, and a coffee machine in their room.
The suites are great: hardly anything is missing: large, well equipped, lovely large and firm bed -- with a mini kitchen including a coffee maker.
Breakfasts are great, served on a roof terace with tremendous views.
Staff are helpful.
Adn there's a gym and a small pool.
I spent 14 nights there and loved it: could not have asked for more.

We stayed at the Suites Las Palmas for three days in early March. The apartment-style rooms are huge, clean and quiet featuring a separate living room and kitchenette with 2-burners, full size fridge, and microwave.Sliding glass doors lead to small, but basically unusable patio. Central A/C worked perfectly the bed was extremely comfortable. The wi-fi signal was strong, fast and stable, and the small digital safe was greatly appreciated. We had a rate that included breakfast on the 7th floor, and we ate outside on the terrace each morning and enjoyed the views. There was a decent variety of traditional items, fresh fruit, cereals and delicious coffee - a wonderfully perfect start to every day! The staff are very friendly, efficient and professional. The property is kept very clean, and our room was serviced quickly each day. There is a small un-heated lap pool on the rooftop terrace, that is refreshing after a day in the sun, and a hot tub to relax your muscles after a day of exploring. We felt safe and secure during our stay.
The hotel is a 40 minute taxi ride from the airport, and a short 10 minute ride to Centro Historico. Make sure that you check out the HUGE outdoor market on Sunday mornings. It covers several blocks and is a crowded, noisy, bustling place where all manner of fresh foods and wares are displayed and sold. The variety food offerings are simply amazing. There are several good restaurants located within a short distance of the hotel, but the street food (Pupusas) are the way to go for lunch or a snack in the morning or late afternoon.

My wife and I, stayed at Las Palmas from May 5 to May 9, 2013. The Hotel at first sight has a nice appearance, once you go inside you find the Lobby to showcase several seating areas and nicely decorated walls. The front desk staff (Ingrid) was very proffesional and a smiling face. David the bellboy/maintenance was very helpful and another smiling face. Everyone we met in the hallways (staff) always had a smile and a greeting for us. Maria Elena one of the managers was so nice and even had a cup of coffee with us. Lucy the cleaning lady was very open to have a conversation with us and never missed a beat or a smile. In my non proffesional opinion, this is the way I expect to be treated when in a hotel and will be revisiting them.
If you are new to the city, the hotel location is within walking distance to several shopping and restaurant businesses and a few minutes away from the malls.

Upon entry on Saturday afternoon we were greeted well and agreed on a late checkout while making the unexpectedly advanced payment. The room was great. Balcony is large and hotel is like 4star. However on Sunday morning it appeared the late checkout would cost an additional 40USD. Paid that as I had agreed the pick up already, but that cost the hotel customers this time and I'll stay elsewhere the coming weekends I still have in El Salvador. A man at the front desk upon our checkout then at 1500 raised the points though and 2 stars became 3.

I moved to this hotel from another due to security/noisey location, and I was glad I moved. The hotel is in a great location, near cafes, restaurants, a supermarket, and pharmacies and it is very safe to walk around the area.
The rooms are very nice, decorated nicely, very clean and really a home from home. Staff are wonderful (Eugenia is extremely helpful as are other staff members). There is a gym, and a small pool on the roof top which is great after a long days work. The hotel may seem pricey but it is worth it. I go to San Salvador at least once a year for work purposes and would recomment this hotel. There is wireless internet (free) and I used the board room when I had to hold meetings, and there is use of the printer (you have to pay for any printing). Also, the hotel has a wonderful in house taxi dirver, Don Tony, he is very reliable, safe, honest (won't over-charge you at all) and helpful. His car is also not marked as a taxi so its extra safe as taxis are marked for robberies.
So overall I would really recommed this hotel. It is more expensive compared to others but for the area and the hotel services I would really recommend it.

Perfect hotel in a great part of San Salvador for a great price. Walking distance to a number of restaurants and bars, 10 minute walk to the supermarket if you want to pick up some supplies. 20 minute walk to the open market to buy trinkets. It has more of a business hotel vibe but very comfortable. The hotel staff was extremely helpful, They even set us up with a personal driver to take us to and from the beach 45 minutes away. Great size room with a nice balcony. The rooftop terrace has a pool with great views. Nice place to grab a beer and relax after a long day of sightseeing

This hotel offers everything you need in your room! The clean lines are great and the suits are great! Nice comfortable bed and the lighting options in the room are not poor. The staff was always nice and very welcoming. The only thing was that "no breakfast was included" but that is just a very minor thing for me. So if you ever come to san salvador, I would recommend this place. Over all I was satisfied!!

All and all this is a nice hotel and staff is very friendly. The area has a few restaurants in walking distance however be aware it is a bit sketchy at night and really nothing note worthy in walking distance. If you have the option rooms in the main tower are newer and nicer. I was in the old tower and the room was very large but dated and a bit musty. The breakfast is great, work out room adequate. The pool is awkwardly located and very small. The staff was always helpful and very friendly I'll be returning in Feb and will hope for a suite in the main tower.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in May, The staff are great. My room was not ready and they offered to take my bags so I could relax for the 10 minutes they needed to finish my room and then gave me an upgrade! The room was large with sofa, chairs, Dining table, Desk, and small kitchen, It was very clean and the bed was great with 5 large soft pillows. The free wifi worked great and at good speed. The included breakfast was very good and on top floor where you can eat outside, with fruit, Pastry, Cereral, Milk, Toast, eggs, rice and beans, refried beans, french toast, pancakes, and one day they had pupusas, they selection changed daily but was all good. The workout room on the roof was good, several pieces of equipment and free weights. The roof pool is small but nice. The area around the hotel is safe and number of great places to eat within walking distance.
