Booked on-line; easy access from high way; free parking; receptionists speak several languages; very professional; room on a smaller size; good mattress, good a/c; clean bathroom with soft large towels; good shower; breakfast satisfactory (2 fruits, cereals, eggs, cheese, etc.) coffee could be better; excellent espresso available from the bar; good location; 15 min walk to the main square; taxi...

The Hotel Laguna was a pleasant stay for a couple trying to stay on a budget. The hotel is about a mile from the train station, nice breakfast buffet and quiet, although it's near the stadium (which was never an issue). Although Zagreb has a rep as an industrial town, we found it (especially the Old Town) to be very...

I was in Zagreb with Mr Polojo, I had a double room, I must say the room was clean and the staff went out of their way to make your stay a nice and plesant one, One thing you must bear in mind is that the hotel doesn't claim to be a Hilton or Sheraton and as long as you...

The Hotel Laguna is just a brilliant hotel situated five minutes by tram from the centre of Zagreb. I organised a holiday here for ten gentlemen. Our requirement was four single rooms and three two-bed double rooms. For UK residents, this is a top notch Travel Inn or Holiday Inn Express. For the price, staff and location, I’ll always go...

A low point on my trip. This is a a standard Eastern European 3 star hotel built in typical communist-soviet fashion, very out-dated and long overdue for renovations. Room was very small and basic with outdated bathroom fixtures and furniture. Bed was far too soft. My bathroom door had water damage. Front staff were friendly and helpful. Stayed here only...

My wife and I were given a room with 3 single beds in it. There were no chairs to relax in, the room was totally lackluster, and I could feel the springs in the mattresses with my finger. The rooms were very small, but the lobby and common areas were wide open and expansive. Looks good when you walk in...

We arrived in Zagreb after 24 hours of travel and was just after somewhere to sleep. The air conditioner in the room did not work properly and would not cool the room to less than 27 degrees celsius. The hotel is noisy and dated (as others have said). Breakfast was reasonable. For the price this hotel was expensive (I paid...

We were caught up in the Icelandic ash cloud disruption last week and were lucky enough to be transferred to the Laguna Hotel by Balkan Holidays. Balkan even paid for the first night B&B. However, after this we were asked to pay for each night. I would like to thank the management of Laguna for not ripping us off as...
