Stayed here for 2 nights, extremely helpful and very friendly staff. Cosy, clean and safe. Kitchen facilities are fantastic, free brekkie is always a goodie and the wifi is excellent. We even came back for a third night after traveling around Croatia. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Zagreb. Absolutely perfect location; close to the old town and located pretty much...

For our first 2 nights in Croatia we opted for a double room in this hostel and were very happy. The staff were very helpful, the rooms were clean and spacious and the common area was full of charm. Highly recommended.

When you go there you really understand why they have a whole wall covered with all sort of awards. Everything is just perfect. The atmosphere is amazing and the common room feels like home right away. The staff are amazing and really seem to care for the guests and want to make the stay there memorable. And they really succeed...

It was easy to find by car and gave good directions to the local parking garage. We were in a private double room in an apartment down the road from the main building. It was clean and well presented which is all that can be asked for from a place like this. Zagreb is a very nice city and a...

Great hostel located in the old town of Zagreb, close to nice bars and other must-sees. There is a nice common room where everyone gets together making plans for the night (while singing the Croatian version of 'Frère Jacques' and drinking Rakija) with the Hobo Bear-crew. The kitchen was well equipped. Showers and dorms are quite small, but clean so...

Hobo Bear Hostel is a very good choice if you prefer it cosy, relaxed and perfectly located. The common room with red brick walls and the modern and well-designed kitchen are places where you surely will feel very comfortable. All staff members are likable ladies and nice to chat with. The historic centre of Zagreb is just minutes away. Make...

We stayed in a room up the road. Private room shared facikities. Our bedroom door was the kitchen. Tiny beds, stairs, hot, noisy air co, messy shared facilities, terrible pillows. Ok location. Wouldnt stay again or recommend. Reasonably priced if I was sleeping on a couch.

Was more of a finely refurbished and well equipped apartment than a hostel. Very helpful and warm staff that spoke excellent English. The apartment itself was very modern, cosy, and clean. Great value for money - couldn't recommend this hostel more.

Thank Josh D
