I visit Sofia monthly and have stayed at the larger hotel chain's on several occassions and also an apartment, which is where I found the Diter as walked further along the street from the apartment and it was there! It's a great central location, a 5 min walk and you're on Vitosha, a small boutique style hotel, with friendly front... More

My father and I stayed in Diter Hotel for a week, which is located in Sofia. It is located at a stone throw distance from Main Street of Sofia. It is a small hotel with many bars and restaurants close to it. Staffs are very kind and friendly. They are ready to help me at anytime (24*7) with a smile.... More

The other reviews were right. This small hotel located on a quiet side street in Sofia, but close enough to walk to the main retail area, is a pleasure to stay in. The staff, the service and the cleanliness really are first class. I have stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels that don't offer this level of friendly and... More

Diter Hotel is a lovely family owned hotel in a very central area of Sofia, close to Vitosha Road and other interesting places. The staff are very helpful and the owner of the hotel himself came to pick up from the airport. The restaurant offers lovely lunches and dinners at very reasonable prices. The rooms were clean and warm and... More

Diter is in a quiet residential side-street near the city centre. It has its own restaurant or there are some others just around the nearest corner. The pedestrianised area is 3 or 4 blocks away. The first thing you notice is that the hotel has a guard just outside the (side) entrance. The reception staff spoke English, it varied from... More

I stayed at the Diter in 2012. I took a group of 26 back to Sofia in 2013 and stayed at the Diter for two weeks. Everyone loved the hotel. If you want a hotel where the receptionists and manager are personal, then you want to stay at the Diter! The rooms are comfortable. The Garden Restaurant is relaxing. Our... More

A short walk away from lots of amenities, in a quiet street and with huge beds and good air-con, this is a nice hotel by any standards and miles better than many that Sofia has to offer. Breakfast is plentiful and with all the usual bits of cheese, fruit and so forth. The restaurant attached is nice enough as well.... More
