Arrived in Tirana in pitch darkness at around 0530 and walked right past this place about three times before eventually resorting to iPhone maps - the hotel entrance is not actually on George Bush street itself but set back about twenty yards down a fairly broad sidestreet off to the left as you walk south towards the river. There's a big red canopy on the street corner so impossible to miss once you find it for the first time. Couldn't be much more central than this and handy for just about anything you might want to see in Tirana

Room was fantastic. Airy, clean and modern. TV - don't know if there was cable because I never had it on - heater in the event of it turning chilly and tea/coffee making facilities. Bathroom was a shared affair between two rooms which in effect made it almost en suite. Compact but plenty of space due to its clever design. Again, modern and clean at all times.

The owner was also a dentist with her own practice and spoke excellent English. Her sister lived in London, possibly hence the hotel name though I forgot to ask. Some of the interior decoration also had a London design in a fairly subtle rather than tacky way. Other members of staff I came across didn't speak English, though this was never an issue. I mean, why should it be? I was in Albania, not England, and wasn't expecting everyone to speak English.

Wifi was a bit tempermental at certain times but fine once it kicked in.

The only real negative I found was that I could see no lift upstairs to the rooms. I'm a disabled traveller but just about managed to negotiate the stairs. Had I been wheelchair-bound, it would have been impossible. Otherwise, I don't think I could have found a better place to stay in Tirana for such a great price.

Wanted to come to Albania 35 years ago but finally managed it this year - a few decades late, perhaps, but at least it was before the easyJet crowd eventually arrives. Would love to return to Tirana and will be trying to stay at this hotel again when I do,

we have been twice here during our trip in the Balkans. Ola and her staff are doing a great job. excellent position, very close to skandeberg square, tidy and super clean rooms and bathrooms, super friendly staff and good English speaking, good wi fi, super comfy bed. All the rooms are very well thought and cured, all the small details are thoughts for the tourists and everytime we'll get to Tirana we'll stay here for sure. very recommended

My girlfriend and me stayed in this hostel for two nights. It's tiny, clean, well organised and central. The staff is nice. Parking place (safe) a bit away from the hostel. Recommended for short staying!

Don't allow yourself to be tricked by the photos you will see on their website. I don't even know where to start...Yes, it's quite cheap BUT
- the blanket was dirty and ruggaged, it was spotted with something dark brown which i refuse to think from where it might have come from;
- the towels were also in very bad shape, literally decomposing...so if you do end up in this dump, bring your own;
- the soap they put in the bathroom for us had been used before, it actually had hair on it;
- if you need an invoice...forget about it, it's gonna take forever;
- they accept euros but no credit cards, which is quite common for Albania;
- host does not speak English AT ALL. He seems well intentioned, but can't actually help you if he doesn't understand what you are saying;
- steep stairs, if you carry large suitcases it will be a challenge.

The only positive aspect was the location, very central.

The hotel is really small, just a few rooms. It's bang in the center of the city but still amazingly quiet. Everything is within walking distance.

The room and bathroom are small but there is everything you need; a comfortable bed, amenities for making tee/coffee, a clean closet for your luggage, flat screen TV and a nice balcony facing the side street. The room is recently renovated and SUPER SUPER clean! All rooms have a fast free wifi.

The girl at the reception is super friendly and helpful and speaks perfect English. This is really value for money!

The people at the reception are quite friendly and welcoming. Rooms are basic but clean and has a balcony to sit and view. Has a water dispenser on the floor.

They recommended a traditional Albanian restaurant, which was quite good.

We stayed for two nights here and enjoyed our time throughout. The hotel entrance is down a side street just off the main road, but is easy to find. The hotel is small, but adequate for most needs. The family who own it are friendly and were happy to give advice on the local area. The deluxe room was small, but came with two small balconies overlooking the side street and the main road and despite this it was nice and quiet. The hotel is situated near a couple of small supermarkets, a bakery, restaurants and is only a short walk to Skanerberg Square. The hotel also free wifi in the rooms and also have free drinking water available in the corridor which is a nice touch. I would stay here again.

This hotel offers excellent value for money combined with wonderfully nice staff. My single room was very good. I liked in particular that there was a large table and free drinking water in the corridor. The bathroom was constantly kept clean by the staff.
Make sure you make a reservation because this place has only five rooms and fills up quickly.

This very small hotel is located right in the centre if Tirana, and that is just of the good things about it. It also has friendly staff, is spotlessly clean and hasbright, airy rooms.

The less positive things, include an extremly steep staircase that is difficult to manage with luggage, a lack of power points in the room, and wifi that tends to come and go.

All in all though, we were happy we chose this hotel for our 4 day stay in Tirana.

Only five minutes walk from city center. Paid but really very interesting and secure parking place (in the courtyard of local people, around three hundred meters from hotel). Your car will be safe under three gates. Noise from street during night (ends after midnight).
