Room was very basic, but clean and safe and centrally located. Air conditioner works well esp for very hot and humid weather. Water pressure was excellent. Our room located at the back of the hotel was very quiet for a central business location. Walking distance from the cruise ship, Avis car rental, restaurants, including the food trucks, and all the...

We stayed here a few days ago, bc we flew in at 10pm, and took the ferry the next morning to moorea. The lady at the front desk was very nice, and the entrance of the hotel was cute.. very tahitian/island feel. The check in process went smooth, and we were booked on the 2nd floor. When we got off...

We booked this for a quick overnight stay - arriving late from Auckland and due to go to Bora Bora the next day. Even so, the Tiare was a disappointment. Basically, everything looked grubby and in dire need of a good clean and/or refurbishment. It was hot - fair play, not a hotel problem! Our room had air conditional but...

I get that its a great price for the market, good location as well. But a foam filled pillow that is so broken down you can feels the hundreds of pieces of foam rubber that used to be a solid core, Groos slober sponge, YUCK. Paint is cheap. They dont do even the Cheap stuff.

I have to start with acknowledging the staff. They are what makes this place special. I wasn't too excited about Papeete since my wife and I were mainly using it as a jump off to the other Islands. The rooms are honestly a little dated, but this isn't a resort. I opted for room 405, the corner balcony with the...

The best thing about this hotel is its location. It has great views of the harbour and is useful if you afe joining a ship. We spent three nights in this small hotel. It is clean but basic. We had a large balcony but there was nothing to sit on. It is situated on the dual carriageway which is solid...

The Tiare is an old hotel that needs a lot of upgrading. The lobby is small (a counter) old small elevator, hard bed, poor air conditioning, small bathroom. Generally the hotel & room where in need of a good scrubbing, paint, curtains, bedding, etc. The location is walking distance to the ferry terminal & the cruise ship port.

This is an old but well maintained hotel. It is not fancy or luxurious but it is moderately priced in an expensive city. The room was large, the AC worked and the beds were clean and comfortable. It is well located and you can walk to the cruise dock. It is also not far from the ferry dock to Moorea....

Oh My Gosh! If our flight was not delayed 6 hours and Hubby and I were not in need of just a few hours of sleep we would of just skipped it! KEEP THE MONEY we would of said. Sorry...that picture that is shown of the Hotel is maybe 30 years old! We were so tired...just took ourselves up to...
