Despite some poor and deteriorating reviews over the last 18 months here's my input. I have stayed here off and on over the last 10 years. As a guest I haven't noticed any major improvements or deterioration in the property during this time. Some room types have been upgraded/modernised, but it's hit and miss whether you get the same standard...

I travelled solo to Fiji and stay two nights at the Peninsula Hotel. Firstly, the wifi is NOT free. How can they advertise free wifi and then charge wifi. The restaurant service was not that good. I was at a table and staff walked past me until i had to ask for water. If you see a guest waiting for...

We stayed here for three nights,I had no choice on this as it was a package with a sports team. The place is below average esp for travelling teams..the bedding was poor and the rollaway beds were a complete joke..some had to sleep three in a bed as they refused to sleep on the rollaway!! The standard of the rooms...

Stayed in the Superior Deluxe Room. Spa was broken, the CRT television turned its self off every 5 minutes. Bathroom had lots of live mould that you could smell in the room. Staff were aware of issues with the spa but failed to tell us upon arrival, still checked us into the room at full rate, and were rather unwilling...

I stayed at the Peninsula recently as a solo traveler in a standard room. The hotel is set about a 15 minute walk up the hill from the main city centre so the location is OK. Taxis to and from the centre cost only F$2-3. To access the room I had to go through a car park area and into...

I stayed here for 3 nights recently with my daughter. I had not heard good things about this Hotel, however all of the other Suva Hotels we normally stay at were booked, so we stayed here. The rooms are very small, though clean. The HK staff were attentive and helpful. The Customer Service in all other areas is virtually non-existent....

well if you are looking for a easy place to stay its this one. The price was right so I stayed but I think there are other places that are better. Its walking distance from the museum so if you wanna go there i recommend it. Hill side rooms mean that you are basically next to the parking lot.

My wife and I stayed in a standard room. The room was basic. However, i felt the rooms could have been cleaned much better esp, the linen used for beddings. We only had breakfast in the hotels for both the mornings since it offered with the accommodation. All i-taukei staffs were very friendly and humble whereas for other indian-fijian staffs,I...

Not a bad stay, but not good value for money and seems to target prices at rich foreigners but without the standards to reflect the price.I paid FJD470 for just 2 nights. While I booked online thru booking.com this was cheapest price I could find for the place. For the same money in my home town which is a tourist...

Staff is friendly and helpful. rooms vary greatly in size but not in price - check them out first. Fourth floor is quiet, fifth floor is down in a basement so not much natural light. The pool is small as is the bar. The restaurant breakfast is basic but sufficient. Dinner menu is good with nice food. Its a short...
