We based ourselves at Namuka Bay as we wanted to visit the surrounding country side. This is not for those looking for a resort experience but is a small place right on the beach with a homely atmosphere, an ideal place to unwind. The accommodation is very well appointed and kept very clean by the staff. There are however some...

We needed a total break from our otherwise hectic lives and Numaka absolutely delivered. No TV, no phones, limited Wifi and electricity meant that we were forced to read books, lie around on hammocks, snorkel in the stunning lagoon, and walk on otherwise deserted beaches (yep at times we were absolutely the only ones there). Downside? Well you do things...

If you are looking for a relaxing and quiet place to stay Namuka Bay is the place. With only 8 rooms, all of which are beach front villas, you are sure to get some piece and quiet. The beach is beautiful with seemingly endless coral reef to explore if your a fan of snorkeling. The rooms are large and clean....

Good for being away from the city and relax. Beautiful beach just for the guesses. The hotel is so far away from the airport in Nadi, one hour distance and the hotel can arrange the transport but it cost $200 dollars return. Food was not pretty good, ask about the Cesar salad ($15) and they told me was just lettuce,...

Perfect getaway to escape the noise of towns/traffic/wifi/ TV and modern life, this is true Fijian island life! We were so happy with our stay here even though we didn't have the best weather. Sake was such a good guide and a happy friendly guy who showed us the caves and told us the history of the area which was...

I would highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting Fiji. The hotel is well run with fantastic food. Almost all the ingredients are grown in the hotel's land. The chef has real flair for balancing the flavours and ensuring you get the freshest meals. The hotel is run by a wonderful family who genuinely care about giving you the best...

We loved our 7 day stay with our 2y old. Having a rental car was nice, but not essential as taxis are reliable and affordable. The staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The small restaurant chef was very helpful, catering for our son's food allergies and we could even bring market food which was deliciously...

I stayed at Namuka Bay on June 9th. With this place, you just need to have the right expectations before arriving. If you're looking for a mellow stay at a rustic beach cottage, then this is the place for you. From the top of the main road, it takes about 15 minutes by taxi going down a dirt road in...

many thanks for your review. Its true that namuka features the best beach and snorkelling prospects on the coral coast. The food is organic and healthy. The villas are undergoing some painting currently and this should be finished in a weeks time.

This little gem is located in the middle of aces of private land. It is four beautiful and simple bungalow located directly on the white coral beaches. The beach is completely private (beautiful) you can walk for km in either direction before you find life. The food is amazing. All local or grown organically in their private gardens. This is...

We arrived here at about 8am and had no idea where reception was, after some wondering we found the restaurant where the very friendly cook and servers introduced themselves. They guided us to reception next door and said the lady in charge would be right with us. There was a friendly gentleman there who was happy to chat but didn't...

Thank you for your review. You really appreciated the ecofriendly set up of Namuka bay lagoon Resort. Actually namuka is not meant for travellers looking for glitzy 5 star hotels and thats why the beachfront villa units are priced from US$85 per night unlike the neigbouring resorts which start from US$150 per night. we are pleased that you found the...
