Our family enjoyed a lovely Christmas buffet Dec 2016 at the Islander Hotel. It was the most reasonably priced and couldn't fault the buffet. They also have great pizzas. We bought our drinks (beer and soda's $3.50 each) at the Hula Bar which is we brought to our table to eat with our meal. Ordering food and drinks on the...

Kia Orana. We are pleased to read you enjoyed your Xmas Lunch Buffet at the Islander Hotel. We provide 'value for money' options for all our food & beverage & hotel room product. Our 'Hotel Bar' offers beers at $5 each (not $9 as you have stated), with full service at your table. Our 'Hula Bar' offers beers at $3.50...

We arrived late and flew out early to Aitutaki the next morning so needed a one night stay. This hotel is perfect for that purpose. It is walking distance from the airport and their rooms are basic but good. They have a good restaurant for breakfast and dinner. One disadvantage for us was that there is a bar with loud...

We attended their buffet dinner and cultural show, held on Tuesday evenings. It is half the price of others on the island, and is attended by a lot of locals. The food was plentiful, although perhaps not as flavorful as other similar dishes to be found on the island. Waitresses were pushing the drink menu, which is not included in...

Kia Orana. Thank you for your review. Cook Islanders are the fussiest diners of 'Cook Islands Cuisine'. A simple 'ika mata - raw fish' meal has intricate flavours and degrees of freshness, that only a Cook Islander will know & understand, and god help you if get it wrong! Our Island Night feast & cultural show on Tuesdays is continuously...

It's a great spot to stay before departing Rarotonga. An easy level walk approximately 200m from the airport. Check your bags in and return to the hotel for lunch, dinner or just a drink whilst waiting for your flight. There's also a Polynesian Car Rental Agency there as well. Rooms are modern and comfortable. The food is excellent, and not...

Booked for a night either end of our holiday as so convenient for the airport and we had the 2am Jetstar flights. It served it's purpose. Motel like accommodation - very basic, but clean and tidy. Breakfast was poor. Couldn't get the room safe to work and staff could only show us the master code. Reception staff helpful and friendly...

Kia Orana, thank you for your review. Our free tropical breakfast is very simple & light - our cooked breakfast options (available at cost) are popular with locals and tourists. The in-room safes now have easy-to-follow instructions. Kia Manuia.

We didn't stay here but wehad lunch here with our 2 kids under 4 before a late afternoon flight. It had been recommended to us by other travellers and locals. Great setting on the waters edge and really good pizza and friendly service. There was also a lady singing which added to the relaxed atmosphere. I definitely recommend it.

Stayed here on our way to and from Aitutaki and rented a room for the day. It's very loud outside at the bar and there are thin walls so don't expect to get much rest but the rooms are clean. Short stop following the jet star red eye for a bit of a kip while our other hotel was being prepared. Rooms were pretty basic. Service was OUTSTANDING.
