Had a two bedroom apartment on the beachfront. (No. 8). Very good location and great size. One full bathroom with toilet plus an extra separate toilet. Big lounge and kitchen area and a nice outdoor patio. Worked well and is private being right at the end. Ocean is beyond a lawn area. Liked the Sunset resort as its small and...

Kia orana Thank you for taking the time to write your review. It sounds like your family had a wonderful time together. Our no children under 12 years of age policy does make the resort a great place for adult families to spend time together relaxing and enjoying the resort, restaurants and beach . As well as the occasional cocktail...

We spent 5 days here holidaying with friends from Canada. We would definitely recommend the beachfront rooms. Worth spending a little more to hear the waves crashing on the reef and to look straight out on the ocean from your bed. Could always find a shady seat or hammock on the beach. Rooms were clean, comfy and spacious. They also...

We were lucky enough to have an oceanfront room at Sunset Resort for 8 days, the rooms are very clean and spacious with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The decor and room itself are kind of bland but the views are amazing! We started off each day just enjoying the view from our bed and went...

First surprise when we arrived to was find that this resort caters for children over the age of 12. Don't get me wrong I love little kids but I also love being able to get to the pool and around the resort without little ones darting, splashing, crying. There were 4 sisters so we staying in a 2 room unit....

We just spent 8 days at the Sunset Resort in Rarotonga. The rooms are lovely, self contained so you can cook for yourself if you chose, close to a couple of restaurants, a bakery across the road, super beach and the bus stop is just out on the road. I loved the pools and being able to wander out from...

Staff dealing with customers were not very friendly, all seems to be about the money. I guess (and from what I was told by locals) that the staff was paid poorly. Staff cleaning the rooms we more friendly. Especially a grumpy lady a the 'happy hour' bar with blond died hear. Simply rude and completely incompetent making cocktails. Snorkling at...
