I have stayed at many hotels in Montevideo and Vivaldi is by far the best in this price range. Very clean, very quiet, close to restaurants, shopping and Rio de La Plata. I was impressed that they take Covid precautions seriously compared to nearby hotels where I have stayed. Vivaldi Hotel is the best option.

I went here for a long weekend in November. The location is good, very close to shopping and lots of shops/restaurants nearby.
The room was pleasant and the bed was comfortable. The rooftop pool looked very nice; unfortunately the weather was too cold to swim during my visit.
My only complaint is the contruction next door. Workers began hammering against the very wall of my room at 7am each day! I wish the hotel would have disclosed this on their website when I was making the reservation.

Mid-range hotel, very clean and nice, providing excellent value for money. Big room with huge windows, ok bathroom. Air conditioning works fine.

Gym is tiny, tiny with no weights etc. The pool area is nice, great view.

Ok breakfast. Friendly staff, easy check in. Location is perfect in Punta Carretas. I’ve never found anything better for this price in Montevideo.

I stayed 5 days at the Vivaldi Hotel in Montevideo, Uruguay and definitely recommend this hotel.

a 2 minute walk from Punta Carretas Shopping Centre and a 15 minute walk to La Rambla.

The room was terrific! Double bed, very comfortable, bedding clean and crisp. The room had a microwave, sink, crockery and cutlery for those nights where dinner in the room is needed. Bathroom was a good size, very clean and bright with a good strong shower and plenty of towels.

The room faced onto Jose Ellauri with an opening window and street noise was minimal. Opening the curtains during the day allowed plenty of light and when closed at night provided a wonderful sleeping environment.

Close by are several restaurants, cafes and a convenience store for those last minute goodies or much needed bottle of water for those hot summer days.

The only downside was the television not picking up all channels....

Front desk staff were fabulous. My Spanish is limited and they took the time to entertain this as well as speaking English. I didn't eat at the hotel restaurant however it seemed very popular and their cortados (short white coffee) were delicious.

Great price and overall value.....
Am returning to Uruguay and will definitely stay here again

Good hotel with clean facilities and location in a fancy neighbourhood of Montevideo. No parking and no breakfast (you have to pay).
I will recommend it but definitely they have to improve in getting more parking lots and including breakfast

My husband, my brother and two nieces expent 5 days in this hotel. I liked the decoration and the modern installations, also the location and surroundings. Room and bed are comfortable. Free breakfast was good, especially bakery. It had ham, cheese, yogurt and a delicious coffee. Although, room wasn't quiet, you can listen what are talking in the room beside or above. Another problem was the staff, many times was not so kind. Shuttle to the airport was expensive. Conclusion: I can recommend this hotel but the staff must be nicer.

The hotel couldn't be in a better place: walking distance to many bars and restaurants as well as very close to the Rambla.
The rooms are quite comfortable, with air conditioning, a nice shower and a comfortable bed. Staff is ok.
Hotel management could improve a little the cleaning and overall organization of rooms: after checking in I found a forgotten tie and there were no no towels in the bathroom.
Everything quick solved but would be better not to happen. Also wifi is incredible slow... if you need to work while you are here just forget about..

My wife and I stayed in the hotel for three nights prior to returning to London. Throughout the stay we had several issues, ranging from broken air-con units in the room, excessive noise from other hotel guests through to rude staff at breakfast, which was mediocre at best. Every time I spoke to one of the receptionists about the issues, they ignored me, lied on a number of occasions failed to rectify a single issue. No customer-service, awful attitude to guests.

I stayed here for one night on a business trip. Positives - hotel appeared to be recently remodeled so rooms were nice with wood floors and modern furniture. Bed was reasonably comfortable. Bathroom was also nice although on the small side - definitely room for only one person. Wifi and breakfast were included. Negatives - gym was a joke (see my pictures). It was on the top floor and had 2 clearly old and used treadmills and a bike and 2 exercise balls. That's it. Elevators were small and slow. Breakfast was not so good - cold slimy eggs, some cold cereal and bread and fruit.

We stayed 3 nights at Vivaldi Hotel. We were not disappointed !! Excellent room, spacios, comfortable bed and pillows, well kept, clean, handy kitchinette, good bathroom.
Reception staff very helpful and ready to offer maps, directions, recommendations. Good breakfast. Good service. Wi fi a little slow in the room. The swimming pool is a little too small.
Only inconvenience we found: there are two construction sites, two highrises, one on each side of the hotel, so works start early in the morning and those rooms that are on either side may suffer more from the noise than we did, in our room in the middle of the hotel building. This may discourage guests who are looking forwards to quietness early in the morning. But of course, it is a temporary inconvenience.
Besides, the hotel is located in a commercial area, 3 blocks away from a residencial avenue like Artigas Boulevard, and the Punta Carretas Shopping mall. the best one in Montevideo. There are restaurants, grills, pizza restos, around. We used the Bus all the time to come and go to places, downtown, or to the east, along the sea walk. ( Rambla )

Hi Natasha, your best bet to get an answer on this would be to contact the Hotel directly, rather than through tripadvisor.

We apologise for the delay in our response. We have suites with beautiful terraces. You could see some pictures on our web site: vivaldihotel.uy The buildings next to the hotel still generate some noise and unfortunately we can not predict on what days or times. We remain at your disposal for any further question. Kind regards
