I stayed here with my husband as part of a tour to Machu Picchu. We wanted somewhere that would be easier traveling between the other historical sites and MP. My sister had previously done anMP tour staying in Cuzco, which proved to be tougher travel wise. Sacred Valley is perfect, close to the famous Maras salt mines and Moray ruins....

Nestled in the Sacred Valley, this hotel really is a gem. I could wax lyrical about the service, the rooms, the landscaped gardens but others have done that so instead I'll just add that the hotel also has its own observatory which is a must (especially with the skies being so dark hereabouts).

I was traveling with a small group and we had left Machu Picchu for the Sacred Valley for a few days. I was violently ill when I arrived here and the hotel was attentive and caring. They sent oxygen to the room, a fan that I requested, and a team of medical staff. All was very professional and appropriate treatment...

Don’t let the road up to this place scare you, it’s a bit rough and the neighborhood is typical small town rural Peru. The hotel compound itself is very nice. The rooms are set in small blocks two high scattered up the hillside. The mountain views are fine and there are a few Llamas and Alpacas staked out to mow...

this is a nice hotel in the very beautiful region of the Sacred Valley, the staff is friendly, the rooms are scattered on a large green area, everything about it is satisfactory, however, there is no public transportation linking the hotel to the train station or the main road. It means that you have to order a taxi to get...

had a great time at this Casa Andina. the cabins were excellent --we had a 2-storey property with great views - especially of the evening spectacular - and very good to be able to sit and read downstairs while my room-mate rested adapting to altitude. The restaurant was good -- but the service here was a bit hit and miss...

We loved our 2 nights stay here. We had 2 rooms in our own cottage, excellent everything. The setting and the views were amazing; great breakfast. Not walking distance to anything. Plan your tours in advance.

My daughter and I stayed for two nights and had a wonderful time! The room had a great view and large windows, so you wake up surrounded by the wonderful scenery... And it was nice and warm even though it was very chilly outside. The restaurant was great as well as the breakfast buffet (my daughter loved it!) There's a...

I don't know which to brag about first the restaurant, the gardens or the service. Loved the food and the landscaping was absolutely beautiful. The room was lovely and bed comfortable the only thing that I didn't care for was the heating system. The key had to be inserted in a slot near the door or all electric was turned...

Our tour group spent 3 nights in this hotel. The property is beautifully landscaped, with nice mountain views and has an ambiance of Peru's Incan past. In the lobby area, there is a woman weaving by hand scarfs, mittens, hats, etc. At night, there is an evocative light show with native dancing. In the dining room, guest are entertained with...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Sacred Valley's most complete hotel: a mountain chalet-styled retreat with panoramic Andes views from every room and every angle. On more than 8 landscaped acres, it breathes an air of tranquility and relaxation. Unique among Sacred Valley hotels - most of which remain isolated in the valley, offering precious little for guests to do - it contains an extraordinary, full-service "Sacred-Spa", a domed Planetarium-&-Observatory for stargazing in the massive Southern-Hemisphere sky, and gourmet restaurant and bar. ... more   less
