Spent several nights at this lovely hotel, coming and going to Mach Picchu. Other reviewers have stated that the hotel is in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do. That is what makes this property so special. Lovely grounds, beautiful landscaping (including the pair of alpacas who keep the lawn manicured!). The beautiful lobby area with a cozy fireplace...

In all honesty, I found this hotel to be nothing more than a stop over for the tourist buses. Yes, the Sacred Valley setting is awesome, the grounds are beautiful, but that's about it! I would never opt to go here for any other reason. No, it's not terrible, I really did like the looks, walking around. But one can't...

I´m surprised after reading other travelers´comments and consider this hotel pretty much like a Holy Cow of the hotels. In my opinion is just a hotel, a nice hotel in the middle of nowhere (no offense to those who claim this place as the Sacred Valley and "stunning views"). Just a valley, Ok?... Seriously, staff is confused between servile and...

This hotel is on a beautiful piece of Andean land in the Sacred Valley. Stunning views, pretty grounds, good food at the restaurant, extremely friendly staff. Our room was very well-appointed, clean and comfortable with a nice little patio to take in the views. A great spot for your stay if you're visiting the Sacred Valley. The small town around...

We stayed only one night at this venue. This is a large hotel with a beautiful scenic setting, nestled in between the mountains. The rooms are not bad with a nice bathroom. The views are amazing. That said, the staff are average, getting 'frazzled' by the big tour groups arriving. Having confirmed my transfer to the station at ollyantambo the night...

The Casa Andina in the Sacred Valley is a beautiful hotel and is a relaxing place to stay before you hike the Inca Trail! The setting is incredible - flowers blooming everywhere - and all of the hotel staff are accommodating and helpful. Our hotel rooms were first class and spacious, very clean with large bathrooms and the bedding is...

It's a beautiful five stars class, modern, comfortable and specious hotel for wearied travellers. After a tiring day hiking on the Inka scare temple site, it's a refreshing and comfortable break for us. The well maintained colourful garden, king size bed in a large bedroom, courteous staff all made us felt welcomed. Patricia Yaba, one of the receptionist even lent...

The rooms we had in an Andean bungalow were lovely. Could not fault. There was an initial mix up over the rooms we had booked, they were not available. Staff were polite but nothing more. No warm friendly reception and exceptionally slow service all around even though it was only 30% occupancy. The overall atmosphere was bland and unfriendly and...

After a full day of seeing the sights, we traveled along the Urubamba River and eventually turned up a rutted dirt road with shanties hard by each side and animals wandering everywhere. As my expectations dropped, we pulled through a wide gate into an absolute paradise. This was a handsome grouping of long two-story haciendas surrounded by beautifully maintained grounds....

Gorgeous setting in the hills of Sacred Valley surrounded by lush farms, cozy mountain community, first rate service, food, huge rooms with all the amenities. Our breakfast and dinner meals were a top rate experience with outstanding wait service. This is a very clasically romantic experience, great 1st and 2nd honeymoon location!!!! Thank you Casa Andina!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Sacred Valley's most complete hotel: a mountain chalet-styled retreat with panoramic Andes views from every room and every angle. On more than 8 landscaped acres, it breathes an air of tranquility and relaxation. Unique among Sacred Valley hotels - most of which remain isolated in the valley, offering precious little for guests to do - it contains an extraordinary, full-service "Sacred-Spa", a domed Planetarium-&-Observatory for stargazing in the massive Southern-Hemisphere sky, and gourmet restaurant and bar. ... more   less
