We stayed here as part of a tour. I found it on line. Amaru Inca which is located in Cusco has other hotels as Amaru Valle and the gringo bills in machu picchu pueblo, all of them were excellent and the tour we have gotten has been excellent as well. The hotel is so beautiful, we were treated as we...

We stayed at the Amaru Valle in December, the off season. The service we received was catered to our needs; we felt as though we were the only guests there. The accommodations were spacious and comfortable. As previous reviewers have stated, the breakfast was spectacular and the grounds were beautiful. It felt as though we were away on a secluded...

Amara Valle Hotel was clean, safe, and quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much. Our room was in a separate building or casa which meant we didn't share a wall with any neighboring guests. This meant we were able to sleep undisturbed. The breakfast was spectacular. It was so nice that the cooks and waitstaff catered to us with such...

The chambers are clean and spacious. The people at the reception speak good English and are friendly and helpful . The location just outside of the centre of Urubamba is nice and quiet. The hotel itself is beautiful with a lot of green between the buildings. The breakfast is no buffet, but is tasty and plenty.

I traveled with a group of 27 people, 7 chaperons and 20 high school students on a service project to Yachay Wasi preschool in Ollantaytambo. The cabins offered chaperons separation from the students while maintaining supervision. A common area for recreation included a pool table and table football. Breakfast and dinner were adequate and served in a well appointed room....

I escorted a group of high school students as part of a Spanish Immersion trip. We spent 2 nights here. In a way, looked more like a Swiss chalet than a Peruvian hostel! I would consider it the equivalent of an economy hotel. I shared a room with another escort and it was a bit small with some of the...

We stayed here for 2 separate nights and it was very good. The little houses are nice and quiet, we had a clean, big family room with plenty of space. Quiet location on the edge of town, but still only a short walk from Plaza das Armas. I don't understand the remarks about the location in other reviews, the walk...

This hotel is adorable! The food was okay. Each day we traveled about 45 minutes to the Ollantaytambo for our daily activity. If you are looking to stay in an area with more to do, this may not be the place for you. If you a re looking for a serene environment- this is a great place.

This was my second time staying here and it was equally enjoyable. The Amaru Valle Hotel is a great place to spend a relaxing weekend. Our room didn't have TV but we didn't need it since we spent the day in Urubamba. There are wonderful gardens and a room with pool, ping pong, etc I would highly recommend it. If...

The hotel is very badly located. I was alone in the hotel and that's why they had closed the restaurant, only 2 staff in the entire hotel. They referred me to the town square for a restaurant, but to get there you have pass a dozen sick and hauling dogs who are after your legs. The pizzeria in the square...
