Melissa-Wasi is a beautiful place with a big garden and excellent staff. Located in the valley of Pisac with mountains on all sides. When you get up in the morning and see the sun rising up over those mountains you will never want to leave! The beds are big and comfortable and the food is amazing! We were there as... More

I spent two nights at Melissa Wasi in one of the bungalows. The grounds were beautiful and the staff made sure we had more than enough firewood during our stay. The bungalow is very spacious with bedding, towels and kitchen equipment available. One word of caution - the bedroom loft area can get very slippery so watch your step! Breakfast... More

We were really looking forward to our stay at Melissa Wasi but ended up being disappointed because the entire place was deserted due to few guests the two days we were there. It is a beautiful property but it was very expensive and we felt at those prices we should have been well taken care of... the location is not... More

Owners are lovely and helpful. Upgraded us to a bungalow as we stayed 5 nights. Breakfast good! Set in a stunning garden 5 min drive from town. They give free use of scooters which is a big bonus. Staff are so sweet and friendly. Great place to just relax for a few days. Town is fabulous with its artisan market... More

I spent a week at Melissa Wasi during a retreat - suffice it to say, I will never stay anywhere else when I return to Pisaq. Melissa Wasi is an extraordinarily peaceful place with beautiful and well-kept gardens. Chito is a gracious host and always there if you have a question or need something. Melissa Wasi is set in a beautiful eucalyptus grove and garden just a short trail to town, along the Urubamba river. The big house, and the adjacent bungalows, are beautifully built in the "Taos" style of architecture. They are furnished with weavings, rugs, ceramics, and other art objects. The beds have fluffy down comforters, sparkling clean. The breakfast, including eggs... More
