We stayed one night at Melissa Wasi and it was wonderful. Here's why you should go and some advice: We stayed in a family bungalow (a seperate small house nestled among several) surrounded by flowers and nooked on the side of a grassy hill across the street from the the 'reception' house where the owners live. The bungalow looks idillic,...

This property was beautiful. The accomodation was rustic comfortable and charming. However it is extremely quiet. No one seemed to be around. My family were the only ones at breakfast. I see people say they walked into town. I usually love a walk but it did seem as though it would take at least an hour? Perhaps shorter but we...

My stay in this magical place was perfect. It was exactly what I needed. The staff made sure all my needs were taken care off. I cannot wait to come back next year!!!!! The food was delicious. I was able to travel to town within walking distance. It's safe and just what I had in mind.

Nesetled in the Sacred Valley of the Incas you can't go wrong with Melissa Wasi. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms fully accommodating and a great restaurant is waiting for you. The owner "Chito" is extremely helpful and make sure you will have a great stay. This is a gem! We will be back.

The only mistake we made during our trip to the Sacred Valley is to only stay 1 night at Melissa Wasi. We should have stayed a minimum of 3 nights to really enjoy the gorgeous property and town! We arrived at Melissa Wasi after a long day of traveling. Melissa (the owner) welcomed us with open arms. We chatted about...

Because of Cuzco city high altitude we decided to go first to Urubamba since the altitude is much lower than Cuzco which ended up being a great idea not only because we felt great but we were closer to the ruins. The hotel was beautiful, peaceful and the owner and employees very friendly. We are definitively planning to go again!
