If you're doing the Inca sights, you're likely going to stay on Ollantaytambu. This hotel was a great choice. It's about a 700m walk into the town square (easy) and about a block from the train station on your way to Machu Picchu. The decor/style was rustic and fit well with the area. The rooms were clean and the morning...

Pretty rooms, nice restaurant, great service, beautiful grounds, quiet surroundings. Too bad we could only stay one night ! The hotel is located on the main street between the square and the ruins, and the train station and very walkable to both.

This Hotel not only looks fantastic but has lovely big rooms, magic gardens (with resident hummingbirds) and awe inspiring views of the mountains, all while being within walking distance of the Train station (which illiminates that long queue of cars and buses heading to the station). Stayed here on a Bunnik tour - well chosen accommodation.

This hotel has beautiful grounds with well-maintained plants and flowers. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the breakfast service was excellent. It's a quick walk to the train station (3 minutes?) and a slightly longer walk to the city center and the Ollantaytambo ruins (6 minutes?).

This lovely hotel in Ollantaytambo is the perfect place to relax after touring Peru's Sacred Valley. Away from the noise of the town square , it's a 3 min walk to the train to Aqua Calientes. It's gardens are filled with native flowering plants, the garden walls simulate Inca terraces, and garden furniture allows one to take in the sights...

The hotel itself is modern, built in keeping with the local landscape and architecture, clean and comfortable, so deserves 4 stars. But the restaurant lets it down. The location is good, quite near to the rail station for the journey to Machu Picchu although the road outside can be very busy. There is good wi fi throughout hotel and the...

We stayed for two nights. The hotel grounds are amazing - lush plants and lots of hummingbirds darting around. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk into town - so not too bad. The breakfast was included and very good. We ordered a bottle of wine one night in the bar and had excellent service. The only downside is...

We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed nice room and the beautiful garden. Location is 15 within minutes walking distance to the center of the village with some restaurants and coffee bars. Restaurant has nice staff, meals are rather expensive with quality little above average.

less than 10 mins to train station & town. Wonderful hotel, beautiful landscaping and views from our 2nd floor room. Nice breakfast buffet, friendly staff. One of our favorite hotels in Peru, not to be missed if you are in town

We just had a fantastic trip to Peru and Pakaritampu was our two night respite in the Scared Valley. The location is great for the tren to Machu Picchu, but far enough away that you aren't bothered by the hubbub down there, and also a great short walk into Ollantaytambo for dinner, touring. The rooms were excellent, clean, lovely. The...
