So much more than a B&B! From the eclectic rooms to Wow's "Flying Tour", Casa de Wow entranced and enhanced our Sacred Valley stay. Winn, a partial resident of our home town, has gone the extra steps to make a visit to Ollantaytambo more than just a tourist visit. We genuinely felt welcomed as family during our stay. Wow's tour...

Stayed here with my wife and 4 year old son for one night and we were made 100% welcome by the owners Winning and her husband. We had a great family room that they upgraded for us free of charge overlooking the ruins and the mountain of the condor. Basic but suited our needs and we would def stay there...

I regret we were there for only one night. Winn has been very helpful (they received our bags before we arrive, as we went for the inca trail walk), and it was a pleasure to talk to her, about things to do in the area (she has great tips) and life in general, and how to make it better. The...

We stayed at Casa de Wow for two nights before our four-day inca trail hike and it was the best thing we could've done. Winn and Wow welcome you to their home with open arms and make sure you feel that it's your home, too. Winn and Senora Sonia make freshly cooked breakfast every morning with food from the local...

This is a lovely place to stay: my 3 friends and I stayed two nights to acclimatize to the height. The breakfast was delicious, hot showers, wifi, help with arranging local tours and restaurants. The rooms are cozy and the place is so quaint. It was wonderful to get Wows inca history and insights into the area. Definitely a must!...

We could tell from the moment we walked in that this was a place run by lovely people. We were only passing by on our way back from machu pichu having to get back to Cusco but would have stayed longer otherwise. There is hot water in the showers ( very hot) , rooms are cosy, breakfast plentiful and location...

I stayed at Casa de Wow for three days and I also did Wow's San Pedro Flying Tour. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to expand not only their awareness, understanding, and connection to this incredible location (Ollantaytambo and the Sacred Valley), but for anyone wishing to understand their own existence and place in this very vast, magical...

Our family of 4 (mother, father, 21-year-old daughter, 19-year-old son) had a relaxing 3-night stay at Wow following a strenuous 8-day Choquequirao trek and a day navigating the hordes at Machu Picchu. Winn & Roberto were very warm, welcoming hosts and full of helpful, interesting information. Each of our two double rooms were cosy, comfortable, well-maintained, and creatively appointed. The...

We stayed here for two nights and loved it here, the wooden log beds, the lovely breakfast and the welcoming hosts (Win and Wow) - awesome place to stay. The ruins out the back way up the hill (which are free) are also really well worth the walk - helps with the acclimatisation and fitness if you are planning to...

I had a wonderful evening staying at Casa de Wow! I came in from Machu Picchu without a place to stay and ventured over to Casa de Wow!! I was invited in so warmly and given some cinnamon and mint tea:). The next morning breakfast was also great and I met another solo traveler to head out on a hike...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Best of Both Worlds is what you get at Casa de Wow!!! Created by Winn and Wow - a North American woman (Atlanta, GA & Asheville, NC) and a South American man (Ollantaytambo) - one might call Casa de Wow!!! a cultural bridge providing its guests with a unique and enriching experience. The comfort and luxuries of the North are combined with the relaxed down-to-earth atmosphere of Peru, in particular the tranquility of Ollantaytambo and the creativity of Wow, who is an incredible artist (thus the nickname). So come join us..... and relax, as you sit atop our eucalyptus benches listening to the running waters of the Inkan aqueducts while you marvel at the stunning view of the ancient Inkan monuments. The location of our Casa is ideally situated on a cobblestone pedestrian street in the "old town" section of Ollantaytambo, just five minutes from the Plaza and all attractions. In the morning, enjoy a tasty breakfast including local organic jams. During the day, we'd be happy to help you organize unique excursions to magical local sites that are off the beaten path. In the evening, enjoy a cup of warm tea from our kitchen, watch a DVD in our cozy living room or gaze at the stars from our rooftop nook. Finally, retire to our beautiful and traditional Wow-crafted beds for a good night's sleep. Once you've stayed with us you will know why we're called "Casa de Wow!!!" ... more   less
