We were slightly disappointed with this place. It was not cheap, in comparison with other, better accommodation we had elsewhere in the sacred valley. Our room was fine but slightly grubby and very cold. the worst thing was that there never seemed to be anyone around, and when we went out we just had to leave our key lying on...

Unfortunately a very loud school group was staying at this hostal with us, but the positive aspects of this hostel far outweighed that negative. The owners are very friendsly, with an excellent collection of incan artefacts. I chatted to their kids in my mediocre spanish, they were just adorable. The rooms are basic, but comfortable. Thin walls made a little...

The owners and rest of the staff were very kind and helpful (the owner even walked us to the bus area and made sure we go onto the right bus heading to Urubamba) -- very welcoming environment. Our room was clean; beds/bedding were warm and comfy; showers had good water pressure and warm water; surrounding area is quiet. The breakfast...

Near the entrance to the Inca ruins this family run hotel provides a good base in Ollanta. Friendly owners and staff make it a pleasant place to stay and it is very good value for money. Bearing in mind most people only pass through Ollanta on the way to Machu Picchu, for a short overnight stay this hotel fits the...

The hotel is located on the ´second square´, cross the river and it´s just to your left in a nice and quiet street; a bonus is the fact that it´s just a one minute walk from the entrance to the archeological site. This hotel is maybe a bit more expensive then others (it´s around 100 soles, say 28 euro´s for a...

We stayed here for one night & we wished we could have stayed longer! From arrival, the owners (family run business) we're very attentive & helpful! They gave us a double bed upstairs unit which was located next to the entrance/river passage. All night long, we heard the peaceful sound of the passing river! The breakfast was delicious & the...

This is such a lovely place, right next to some very nice Inca ruins. Of all the places that we stayed in Peru, this was the least expensive and yet it was our favorite. The family that runs it are wonderful and helpful. The upstairs room was clean and full of light, with a view. They also cooked the breakfast...

We stayed in K'uychi Punku for 3 nights. My room was clean with hot water but my sister's room was not so great- the bathroom smelled and there seems to be problems with hot water. The staff don't really speak english but we spoke a little spanish so we got by ok.

“L'unico problema è che l'acqua calda va SEMPRE controllata prima di fare la doccia. Se ci sono problemi, tuttavia, li risolveranno in pochi minuti. BE sure to check the hot water before having a shower. They can have problems with it, but they will sort every probelm out in 2 minutes, if you only ask.”
