Perfect location in barranco, close to the beach in a very artsy neighborhood. Awesome rooftop bar with actually pretty good prices for the area. The rooms are spacious with great people. The staff made me feel very at home, one guy speaks English very well and was able to give us all the information we needed about the bus and...

This review is actually meant for the "Kaminu Private Rooms Barranco", but since we sent a booking request for Kaminus main place and got a confirmation for the Apartments (which we did not realize until we got here), I imagine this could happen to several other people as well! Please check out my review for the private barranco rooms for...

Nice staff, was very helpful. Breakfast was nice and had everything. Room was a bit big, with 5 bunk beds. Easy to use public transport and reception day and night available. Small common areas, but nice terrace! We extended our stay 3 times one or two nights without any problems or changing rooms or bed.

Had a great time here at Kaminu. Actually went back after being disappointed by another hostel in Lima. Location in Barranco is great, tucked away between the sea and the art/party/culture scene. Close to neighboring Miraflores and the Center of the city. Staff was super helpful, friendly and professional. Had plenty of options for tours and services but was never...

We stayed in the private apartments 6 blocks away, not the backpackers itself. The room was large and had access to shared bathroom, kitchen and lounge. The facility was secure and safe, with a staff member there 24/7. It was a few minute walk to restaurants and attractions of Barranco. We did visit the backpackers for the free breakfast (basic,...

The rooms were a little hot. The upstairs area was fun to hang out at. The bar had good prices. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location was amazing! Breakfast was good. I would suggest staying here a night. You won't be disappointed.

I am sad to report that the place is not clean despite of the fact that the staff was really friendly and helpful. The private room where I slept had a strong smell, and the bathroom was fully contaminated with mould. They use incense to improve the air smell, but because I suffer from asthma, to me, it was really...

There are so many things I have to say about this place, but let's start with the positives: rooftop is a nice space to hang out in although needs a serious clean, some staff are nice (mainly the girl backpacker working there), wifi works and showers are hot. Now for the rest of my experience at this hostel... The first...

It's in a grrreat spot. Bajada de Baños, 30 second walk to the beach or the fun center of Barranco. It also has a nice rooftop terrace and some friendly volunteers. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The building itself is kind of winding and rickety. Breakfast is the most basic, bread, jam, and coffee or tea. Dorm rooms are...
