Ok, it is an old hotel. Classy entry. Slow old elevators. Old furniture in the rooms. Old fixtures in the bathrooms. But the management knows how to run a hotel, and tries to keep everything in good condition. Nice location to come and go several...More

We loved our stay here! The hotel has so much history, the food and drinks (including feee breakfast) were delicious, and the hotel staff was very friendly. Our only suggestion would be to bring ear plugs - the streets are noisy and you'll hear cars...More

As long as you settle your bill early in the day I think it is fine. There is always someone at the front desk though you may have to bang on the bell to get someone's attention. I arrived early for my room 10 AM. They made me wait until 2 PM before giving me a room, which was of very low quality. It faced the center ventilator courtyard that made a loud motorized noise. They did not give a higher quality room until 5 PM facing the streets, which had incredibly loud street noise. Even my trusty earplugs could not muffle the noise.

"Get room facing inside of the hotel for less street noise."
