As read in many other reviews, we had an overbooking as well. Instead of a double room with private bathroom, we had to share a tiny bathroom with 4 other rooms. I think they just try this trick with many bookings and just hope that you stay (with a discount). The room was not big, because there were two beds... More

For me this place was great. Staff was helpful and friendly. Although they didn't speak much english. Location was perfect just few blocks away from the sea. There was a kichen but other than that no common room to hang out. Overall great value for your money if you dont look anything fancy. And there is a grocery store just... More

It's hard to recognize the hostel when you get to the address by taxi. But that's positive because the hostel is hidden in the 2nd floor between bigger hotels. This turns it to a very safe place. After passing the tight entrance, there are only five rooms, a shared bathroom and a kitchen. The double room with shared bathroom was... More

I booked this place through hotels.com, so if you go through that portal there might be confusion potential with other, fuller service places nearby. This isn't that. It's definitely guesthouse standard, meaning that you need to bring your own towel, sandals would help and so would the full range of toiletries. As mentioned, the shared bath/shower isn't large (if you're... More

If you want to stay in a cheaper and well-localized hostel on Lima, you would try the Inca Life Backpackers Hostel! Great service, safe neighborhood, close to shops and supermarkets. Don't think twice!

Not good if you like a little being welcomed and food! When we arrived our room turned out to be not connected to the bathroom so going into the hall of the hotel for a shower! In the morning breakfast would be surved at 8 but at 7.55 nothing to see!! Luckely they have an exelent hotel right next door.... More

Hostel requires payment upfront, and for a reason..! Although the building itself is not that bad and the location is fine, but the staff is just a joke. They have all the rules posted on the walls- not to smoke, to keep the place tidy, keep quiet after 11pm.. the guests respect that, BUT NOT THE STAFF. The staff has... More

Inca Life is certainly one of the cheaper options in the Miraflores neighbourhood in Lima. The staff often looks at you like they have no idea what you're talking about, but in the end they were very friendly. The hostel is located in a very safe neighbourhood, close to the centre and the main avenue of Miraflores. The place is... More

...my partner and I stayed in a private room with ensuite - the room and bathroom was very big for such a small hostel (had a double and single bed). The room was street facing but the neighbourhood was not overly noisy. We managed to have very comfortable sleep. The hostel had a small communal area, which people were allowed... More

Loved this hostel! Small, cozy, comfortable, like a home away from home in a big city in the best part of town, walking distance to everything. The staff are friendly and welcoming and helpful in everything you need. I loved staying here and would recommend to anyone going through Lima.
