Loved my time there and missing it already! Thanks for the yummy breakfasts, the guitar lessons, the fun and the hangovers! Marcos place is spick and span and he sets a lovely warm and chill atmosphere. A homely place to start your travels.

This was by far the best place I stayed while I was in Peru, and my partner and I stayed in Mancora, Arequipa, Cuzco, Ica, Auguas Calientes... Plus a couple other small towns. Comfy beds, a fantastic host, etc. my only recommendation is don't go there first because every hostel after will be a let down!

I really like this hostel, it makes you feel like home hanging around with Marcos and other amazing travelers! Marcos knows a lot of good restaurants and sometimes guests went out together for the food cuisine! Of course Lima is one of capital to try food!!! The room is large and bed is comfortable, WIFI is very fast!! The terrace... More

it was just like home, more like a flat with a central eating and lounge so you can help but mix. Marco made me so welcome, provided me with maps for restaurants etc he had personally visited to verify they were ok. He even took a couple of us to a local market where he goes to eat cerviche. Amazing... More

Located near the junction of miraflores and barranco but located in Surco district, this is a two room (4bed dorm per room) apartment with kitchen facilities. Affordable price. But the best part of it is the host Marco who was very welcoming and helpful with directions, attractions, where to eat and how to get to attractions. We ended up taking... More

Lima was our first stop on our world travel. Me and my fiancee were excited and also a bit a nervous. We just jumped into this project and did not know what to expect. We had book 2 days initially with Marco but when we arrived we immediately felt like if we were home but in Peru so we extended... More

I am still proud of myself because I chose to stay at Lima Backpackers during my first days in Lima. The experience would not have been the same if I hadn't! We had booked for two nights and ended up staying for a whole week - and stayed again for one night when we were back in Lima. The hostel... More

A great hostel! I was going to stay here only for two nights before going up to the Andean highlands, but I immediately requested for extra two days of stay upon arrival. Marco, the manager of the hostel is a very helpful and knowledgeable host who goes above and beyond to help you navigate his city. He even took me... More

Thanks Marco for a great stay! Beds are good, rooms are clean and its in a quiet neighbourhood. Rooftop bar if you are interested. About 30-40 min walk from Miraflores - perfect to get away from the noise but not too far away either. Marco, the owner is extremely helpful with everything
