This has to be the worst hostel I've ever stayed in. Pretty expensive and the 'free breakfast' is a bit of stale bread with some butter.. And then you have to wash up your dishes. Some guests were screaming for 4 hours, literally sounded like someone was being murdered and staff completely ignored it. Really disturbing and the huge prison...

Urban House is a chilled hostal just off Calle Santa Cruz. A bit of a walk to the main square in Miraflores but manageable and safe. Walking back at night in a group shouldn't be a problem, just don't carry anything valuable to loose. It's also very close to the beach which can take you up to Larcomar shopping area....

This was the worst hostel I have ever stayed in! The whole hostel was filthy, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, common room. The bathroom floor was permenantly black with dirt. The fridge stank I'm pretty sure some of the food in if had been there for months. My bed linen was damp so sleeping was uncomfortable. I have never felt more unwelcome...

It was dirty... Dirty dirty dirty. Everywhere, from the kitchen, the living room, the dining table, the shower, the room... Fortunatly the sheets where clean and we were there only for one night.
