Like many hostels in Peru, this place doesn't offer warm water in the shower. In fact, the owner, who is a grumpy woman, closes most nights the watersupply completely. Some showers have even mold. The place is spacious but noisy and when someone is preparing a meal in the kitchen the whole house smells it. There are better hostels in... More

This hostel is "totally fine"! Not really trying to be anything special. Rooms are spacious, with windows, including the private bathrooms. Everything is clean, but not spotless. All rooms have a huge carpet on the floor... which is probably only enjoyed by the English guests :). The breakfast is basic but ok. The staff (family run) was nice and helpful... More

Arranged a airport pickup which was fine. Stayed for one night in single room which was great. Room was very big with 2 double beds and private bathroom. Hosts were really friendly and advised what to see and do for the day. The main bus station for downtown was a few block walk away. Breakfast was just ok but that... More

We stayed there for 3 nights in June. The room was OK but the door lock was broken, so that we could lock the room but couldn't open it then. Hosts tried to help but didn't find any solution to this. About the hosts, they were mostly nice, some of them spoke English a bit. The location is quite good... More

Great location. Spacious room and bathroom. Carpet and upholstered chair dirty with age. An odd incident occurred when I was in the reception area. A young man and his 2 friends angrily confronted the owner. He said that he saw her in his room taking a $100 bill US from his wallet. He was very angry. I don’t think he... More

I stayed here one night with my girlfriend in the group dorms. The dorm is small, but has enough space everyone as well as personal lockers. The staff are very friendly and helpful, willing to give directions and recommendations. The breakfast they provided was marginally better than the usual hostel fare with options for eggs, yogurt, and fresh juice. One... More

Location: walking distance - 5 mins from Metropolitano and Kennedy park. It's the best hostel we've stayed in Peru - hot shower, clean, breakfast with cereals & milk or yoghurt, fried eggs, coffee and usual bread and butter. Good rooms and beautiful patio inside. Guests are quite nice and it's a mixture of gender/age/occupation. Things to improve: BE CLIENT ORIENTED!!!... More

Claudia and her mom are the most gracious hosts- they treat us like family, well maybe because we share mutual friends! However I've observed how they treat all guests and it is with care, attentiveness and a friendly attitude. My partner was stuck in Lima and was sick, but Claudia and her mom took care of him like he was... More
