My Las Fresas experience started with an awful "official" taxi driver outside of the airport picking me up and going on about how dangerous this hostal is and that he can take me to a better one: The Principle. I kept saying "no gracias," but the driver just kept going on and on about The Principle and how dangerous it...

If you are looking for an overnight stay near the airport in Lima, this is the place to stay. Quiet, clean and very economic. It is five minutes by taxi and the the hotel offers a range of rooms with or without private bathrooms.

We arrived at the hostel at around midnight after five of us packed into our "transportation," which was a small sedan not big enough for more than three people. My wife sat on my lap with her head tilted to the side so that we could all fit in this car, arranged by the hostel to wait for us. Those...

Had a night to kill in lima between flights. This place is cheap so don't go in expecting much. They organised transfers to/from airport which was good. Room was safe and clean no heating but plenty of blankets. Staff are friendly. Not sure what other reviewers who hated on this place were expecting but a bit of research before hand...

I called a week ahead to reserve an airport transfer and a room, when the time came, there of course was no airport transfer and the reservation had mysteriously disappeared even though I had an e-mail confirmation. Definitely not trustworthy.

I would stay away from this place. It's in a shady location and the taxi driver they provide rips you off if you dont agree on a price before hand. in any case, you dont have an option because you will not find a taxi in this location. The rooms are dingy and the beds not comfortable. Dont even think...

My family of 4 had to stay the night in Lima to catch a flight the next morning. We booked here and days later received email about their pickup service from the airport and that we would be charged for it regardless whether we use it or not. The email showed us a picture of a spot where someone will...

We stayed at the hotel, due to its location near the airport. We arrived around 2am and opted for lodging here, since it's about 5 minutes from the airport and we had a flight out later that morning. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and pleasant; the arranged taxi service to/from the airport was also dependable and convenient. Unfortunately the...

We needed a cheap place to stay from 9pm to 7am for our family of our. The property was cheap, and I wasn't expecting much for the $45 we paid. Pros: Only took 5 minutes from airport (15 minutes to return the next morning) Family room was just like the pictures (very little space, bunk bed + queen) Property was...
