Our taxi ride from the airport was included in our room cost, which we certainly did not expect. The room was spacious and had historic details. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. Also, the owner was very gracious to hold onto our luggage for the afternoon (after we checked out) before we began a tour that evening. We would definitely...

I stayed here for one night and couldn't be happier. The hotel is reminiscent of those days when the rubber barons ruled. Rooms are large with very high ceilings and comfortable if somewhat spartan. The staff is welcoming and the Casa Morey makes for a wonderful retreat in the city.

We stayed at Casa Morey for just 1 night before our jungle expedition. The hotel occupies what was once the mansion of a rubber baron, and it has been semi-restored to it’s 1913 grandeur. Our room was huge. Even with a king bed and 2 single beds, there was still room to swing about a dozen cats! The 2 aircon...

After arriving in Iquitos and melting in the grimy humidity and heat it was amazing to step into this beautiful, clean, elegant, historic hotel. Then when we saw our room we nearly fell over - it was huge, light and airy, with 16 foot high ceilings. We had a room on the second floor overlooking the river. We felt like...

We stayed a night here after our trip to the Amazon jungle. The room was extra large and had immensely high ceilings (over 3 meters). It was charmingly decorated and had all the luxuries like a safe, hot water with good pressure and a working air-conditioner. There was a good spread of items at breakfast including the usual yogurt, coffee/tea,...

Casa Morey is a boutique hotel with few rooms (15-ish). A beautiful old building in busy, not so beautiful, downtown Iquitos. With all the features like breakfast, swimming pool, WiFi (pretty slow though), airport transport, friendly staff, nice spacious rooms and good shower, it is probably the best place in Iquitos to stay. Our first night was in two rooms...

La Casa Morey is a beautiful place to stay, with large air-conditioned rooms, and a very quaint lobby that contains some interesting antiquities. The best part, however, is the great location. It's right next to Amazon river, and is also within walking distance to numerous bars, shops, and restaurants. There is also a square nearby, which affords some great opportunities...

La Casa Morey is a great place to start your journey into the Amazonriver basin. The ambiance is vintage 19th century rubber barons with Spanish architecture and 20 foot ceilings in the rooms - no kidding. The service is top shelf. Señor Luis Rios goes to great length to ensure that everything that can be done will be done, including...

What an amazing place! We stayed here for two nights after having spent 2 nights in a lodge in the jungle and this was really one of the highlights of the trips. Breakfast amazing, delicious juices and fruits, eggs as you wish and pancakes. Very friendly lady serving it! Large rooms, lots of caracter, we had a rooms on ground...

We stayed here one night after Amazon cruise and stay in TreeHouse Lodge. This is a beautifully restored mansion on the water with a view over small park and water. It is spacious and tastefully done. We were in a great room overlooking the pool and the view was stunning. The only concern we had was the outdoor concert/celebration in...
