My daughter and two friends stayed here for a total of six nights. It's an easy walk to the Plaza De Arms and restaurants. It's a small two story hotel with the rooms circling a sitting area. We ended up using this as our base, returning twice after an Amazon tour and Machu Picchu trip. The hotel was happy for...

I thought this place was OK! It is in a very good location to explore Cusco. It is a really short walk to the Plaza de Arms, and right down the street from the Plaza San Francisco. The rooms are clean and basic. This place is not "the Ritz", but for the price, I think this place is a really...

This was probably my favorite hostel we stayed in in South America. "Larry" behind reception even booked us a tour to Machu Picchu. We stay here for a couple of days before we went and then a few days after the trip. The staff were fantastic, they made up practice our Spanish i.e. getting us to our room number in...

We thoroughly enjoyed our three-night stay at Teatro and cannot relate to the negative views on Tripadvisor. From our first impression as we got out of the car, we were charmed. Inside, the space was warm and inviting due to the bright colors and eclectic decor and the friendliness of the woman at the front desk. She spoke no English...

This hotel is centrally located, close to the Plaza de Armas, but far enough away so that you're not hassled by vendors immediately when you walk out of the door! We were happy to pay $43/night for a double room with ensuite, cable TV (with CNN/BBC) and high-speed wifi. We never had any problems with hot water - there was...

This a excellent hostel. It is located two blocks away from the main square of Cusco, near restaurants and handcraft stores. The staff was always very helpful when answering all our questions. The rooms are very comfortable and you have hot water 24 hours a day. Definitely, this an excellent and cheap option in Cusco.

This hotel is way overpriced for what you get. Paper thin towels, stained sheets, dirty suspicious carpet on floor, hot water did not work in the morning. We were told we could check out at 10 by one person and then called at 8:45 to get out. Even when we explained what the other employee said they told us to...

This is a comfortable and convenient hotel in Cusco. It is very close to the main squares including plaza de armas. The breakfast is ok. The staff is friendly and understand English. It is located in an old style spanish colonial house. The wireless internet works fine. The water is nice and hot. However, it is not a luxury hotel,...

My Mom and I are really enjoyed staying at Teatro Inka. It was only about a 10-15 min walk to the Plaza in Cusco and was very comfortable, clean and well-staffed. Elizabeth, the owner, and her staff were always accomodating and helpful when we needed anything. Our room was cleaned every day and we were given fresh towels. The center...

While the Teatro Inka is not the most central , the minutes walk to the main square is insignificant to all the benefits of this Hostal. Elisabeth and her staff do everything to make your stay enjoyable. Be aware there can be some older guests and the breakfast service takes some time to start up in the morning - but...
