If I remember correctly, there are only two or three steps to the entrance. Yes, there are ground floor rooms (we had one) and there is a lift to go down to the breakfast room. There is no pool ... Why not go to their website and use their contact email to ask them about anything. They speak perfect English and are very helpful and pleasant.
Have a good trip!
