Good central location, within 10-15 min walk, if you dont mind altitude, to most major points. Front desk helpful, but need to be reminded of some staff (laundry was promised to be ready in am, didnt get it back till after 6 pm after asking twice, good that didnt have to leave that day). If you need to save some...

We were on a G adventures comfort tour. Checked into the Taypikala for two nights. Our room 106 was totally unacceptable. Windows did not close properly, no sound proofing. We were on the street and heard the conversation in the next door shop till late at night. We woken up by a delivery truck exhaust fumes at 0500am. Shower curtain...

Very good hotel for the money and close to the main tourist sights. We arrived early and the hotel staff allowed us an early checkin. Staff were very helpful. Room was very clean with a huge and comfortable king bed. Restaurant is really nice but we left early the next day so we missed breakfast. Overall a great place to...

We checked in late last night and immediately were disappointed. We had to go down a set of stairs and back up a different set to get to our first floor room. Wifi didn't work in the room and had to go to the lobby to connect. The bathroom walls have mold growing in them, and the water closet has...

Up an unlit side street, we still had high expectations. Silly us! My room was downstairs - a very poorly lit dungeon with little natural light. It as near the dining room. Breakfast started at 4.00. Clatter and loud voices meant sleep had ended. At 6.45 went to breakfast. Only two tables were occupied, but all others in the large...

This hotel is tucked up a small street just around the corner from the remains of the Inca Sun Temple and a short walk from the main square and all the major attractions. The street is quiet, though if you are on a coach tour be aware that coaches cannot easily get to the hotel so you may need to...

That's about all of the Spanish that I know. The Taypikala is a wonderful hotel, and they are located in a good area for sightseeing, walking, buying, eating, and other things. The staff helped my wife and me with directions and answered our questions intelligently. They have a computer that can be used to communicate or google. Also, they have...

I had a very good experience in Hotel Taypikala Cusco. The hotel room was definitely clean, comfortable, and had a good staff. Its location is within a few minutes of the Plaza de Armas and all the amenities Cusco has to offer. Breakfast was delicious and it was conveniently located in the bottom floor. Very quiet and had a great...
