The hotel is located in the residential area of Cusco, about 10 minutes drive from the central Plaza de Armas. There are about 17 rooms, very clean, that are simple and comfortable and each floor has a communal area with a TV. There is access to the computer and tasty breakfasts. The service is exceptional and staff super friendly. They... More

My friends and I stayed at the Hotel Torre Dorada before and after our Incan Trail hike. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Cusco. Initially, I was a little worried when my friends booked this hotel, because the hotel is a bit outside the Plaza del Armas. What a quickly learned, was that the incredible staff... More

From the time of the pickup at the airport to the drop off and during every phase in between we felt pampered, special, cared for. The driver picking us up had a very clear sign, stood close up among the crowd, and his warm smile instantly put us at ease. The same driver and others were on hand within seconds... More

Spent 4 nights at Torre Dorada last week. I was really impressed with the service provided by the hotel. The staff was extremely helpful (esp. Danny & Mariela) and the rooms were spotless. They held our bags for us while we spent the night in Aquas Caliente. My husband needed to see an eye doctor while we were there and... More

We stayed here for 5 nights. Peggy and the staff are TERRIFIC!!! They didn't know the word "no" or "can't do". They truly want you feel at home and go out of their way to help and make things easy. That said, this is really more B & B. I think 17 rooms. They only serve breakfast and there are... More

Before I start, I would just like to mention that this review is written by extremely neurotic travellers who were quite apprehensive about travelling to Peru (in terms of cleanliness, altitude, water, food etc.) and staying in a small, private hotel. We chose this place based on all of the positive reviews here, and were not at all disappointed. We... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Torre Dorada at the beginning of September and absolutely loved it. The staff and owner of this hotel genuinely care about the well being of their guests. They will take the time to make sure that you are comfortable, happy, and enjoying your time not only at their hotel, but at Cusco in general.... More

Yes, this hotel is not bad. Its location is absolutely horrible, away from the Plaza de Armas, the heart of Cusco city, and in a dicey neighborhood. You have to catch a hotel ride every time you want to go or come back from any place you would like to visit. Cusco is not a big city, but it is... More

If you are AT ALL nervous about traveling or unsure about the language, STAY AT THE TORRE DORADO. If you're not nervous, and have been there dozens of times, stay there anyway. This was a wonderful, wonderful hotel. The woman who runs the place is an absolute marvel. When we first arrived, she arranged transportation, and then gave us a... More

We stayed for 4 nights at Torre Dorada. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Peggy was a wonderful hostess and made me feel as if we were already friends. She e-mailed me tips about what to bring, how they could help us and were extremely flexible when we had to change our plans. The rooms were clean and cheerful and... More
