I stayed in Loki the days before and after my Machu Picchu Trek because I booked it with Loki travel. The Hostel itself is huge and has a good atmosphere but we had to wait a lot at the reception and the wifi connection is a joke. If u are looking for party it is a great option as you...

I had the deluxe matrimonial suite which was GREAT for a private room in a hostel. Even though it was away from the bar as advertised, I felt it was still a bit loud from the bar that was packed every night. My major problem was the staff. Each staff member took forever to answer questions, check us in and...

Facilities are good for the price you pay. Beds are comfy, showers are good, food served is delicious, but the location got me really upset. It's within walking distance from downtown, but you gotta walk like 10-15 minutes up the hill, which can be very annoying to do frequently, carying bags and after long days walking. Besides, wi-fi works terribly...

For the price you pay, the facilities at Loki are adequate. The staff is friendly, helpful, and well-humored. However, this is a huge party hostel and quite loud throughout the evenings. We stayed in parts of the hostel that were far away from the bar, which is where the parties are held, and even then we didn't get great sleep....

My friend and I arrived there without a reservation and managed to get two beds in the big value dorm s/.24. The beds were big and comfy and the pillows were the best I have had in South America - everyone gets two!! There is a huge bar if you like to party and free tea & coffee and a...

This is a very friendly and fun hostel. Everything you need is here and is very close (5 minutes) to the plaza de armas . In a safe area, felt happy walking around late at night. They also have the loki travel on site - where you can book a variety of tours eg salkantay and uyuni flats and more!...

Beware that this hostel is huge - with over 200 beds. The bar organizes parties every night, so if you like to sleep, ask for a room away from the bar. The place is understaffed and you would most likely be waiting in a queue - for check-in, check-out, luggage storage and pretty much everything else. Internet connection is poor.

Terrible hostel. Overcrowded and unpleasant. Staff member was visibly drunk when we checked in at 6am after getting off a 12 hour bus journey. Finally got access to our room at 2pm and its was a mess. Our beds were occupied and we decided to leave. Found a new, nicer hostel 2 minutes down the road for a better price....

We stayed here before the Salkantay trek and found it loads of fun. Hostel was clean and as you would expect. The bar was great fun, and the staff here were very friendly. The food was good too, but not too adventurous.

Upon arriving at Loki we had to wait over an hour and a half to check in as others who arrived after us were checked in first despite us having a reservation. We stayed at Loki one night before heading on a trip to Manu National Park which we booked through Loki Travel. We had reserved through Loki reception to...
