My wife and I stayed in a private room for 2 nights prior to a 4 day Salkantay Trek. The hostel is conveniently located and is within walking distance to most of the popular tourist areas of Cuzco. Our room was clean and the common areas were, too. A simple breakfast is included in the room rate. There is no...

I stayed here for a week in December in a 6 bed female dorm. They provide lockers, a small light and charging points next to the bed. The room is next to the street which you can hear so you're better off asking for a room at the back. I booked a trek through their website which I had paid...

Hoa Emma! We are really glad you felt better and you were able to join the last part of Machu Picchu tour! :) We know how important it is!!! Regarding Wi-Fi, as you said we have internet in the communal areas, perfect spot to meet new people! Cheers!

I shared a 6 bed dorm which was basic, but clean, bedding and lockable cages for bags and personal property cages were available in the room. The bathroom could have been better; it was functional, but some of the fixtures were falling apart, the toilet wobbled and felt like it was going to detach from the pipes, the shower was...

This has to be one of my favourite hostels so far. I arrived quite ill, and the staff at reception immediately asked if i wanted a doctor, and were quite concerned for my wellbeing, which was nice. The bar has a great atmosphere, very social, and the theme nights are agood laugh. Beer pong is a religion here, and everybody...

Milhouse is a classic party hostel. Very noisy friday and saturday night. The rooms are clean and the place itself is very comfortable. The food in the bar was adequate and not too expensive. They have an inhouse agent to arrange activities in and around Cusco which is very handy. If you don't mind the party atmosphere it's an alright...

Big colonial house, dorms are spacious with in suite bathrooms. overall clean, reception staff friendly, the others at the tour desk are rather distant, they only wanted to sell. the place is well located , just 1 bloc from the Plaza.

My first morning at the hostel I appeared to come down with fairly severe altitude sickness. Staying conscious seemed difficult. It seemed like a good idea for me to get some breakfast in me to prevent from passing out. I was close to fainting at the table and gagging a lot. Every time I looked up I caught eye contact...

Dear Molly, We are really sad you hadnt got a great experince at the hostel. I can understand if you feel sick, nothing will really help. It is a shame that you didnt come to reception so we can call a doctor for you. We have people from all around the world, and the staff perfectly know that no-one have...

Great place for backpackers and hikers. The rooms were reasonably priced and clean. We got a private room which was a little loud in the evenings because the bar was above us. Overall it was a great experience. The hammocks in the lobby were amazing for a quick nap:)

The good: good location, big rooms, comfortable beds, cheap alcohol in their bar, activity nights everyday of the week, cheap sleep. The bad: unfriendly staff, bad quality breakfast, odd hours for breakfast (730-1030am), very late since most tours leave early. Slow internet. Very noisy at night time, all the way until 2am. Dont get room 116, the bathroom smells bad...

Hola Fanning! Glad to know you actually like all our hostel facilities! as you have mentioned: good location, big rooms, comfortable beds, cheap alcohol in their bar, activity nights everyday of the week, cheap sleep. Breakfast has a normal timetable, as other hostels in Cusco. Not everyone leaves everyday that early for tours, as many people stay in this wonderful...

I stayed here just one night in-between Machu Picchu and my bus to Puno. There seems to be lots to do in the hostel itself: if you're new to Peru and alone, this would be a great hostel for you to meet people and find your way. Bean bags and pop music in the lobby indicate that this hostel is...
