The hostel itself is old and creaky but nice with a large amount of outside space. The rooms were spacious, the beds were clean and comfortable and the toilets were clean but hot water was temperamental. From the balconies inside and outside of the hostel you get good views of the city. The staff were helpful late at night and...

My boyfriend and I came to Cusco to return passports to friends that had left them behind in Aguascalientes. We stayed one night in room 106, across from the reception and were comfortable. It does have a bit of a smell but I wasn't too bothered by it. We had to come back the next day because we left our...

Atmospheric old building close to the main Plaza with clean rooms; however, the staff seem to be hell bent on running it into the ground. They refused to help us with some enquiries we had, no explanation, just "no". At times they left an old man in charge, he was often confused and unsure what to do. They have rooms...

We stayed in a private room with bathroom and were very happy with it. Though some cheaper rooms are far more basic.. Firstly the staff are friendly and genuinely helpful. The room was cosy and comfortable. Hot showers and WiFi in the room. The location is perfect, and at the same price as many hostel dorms its hard to beat...

This place is close to the Main Square just two blocks from it . The people who work there are really helpful, the owner is a nice woman called Marina who you can have a nice chat and the bedrooms are perfect, just for having a good bath and leave your luggage. There is a disco near there maybe the...

We used this hostel as our base for 2 weeks of excursions. Nice to be so close to the Plaza de Armas and the owners are really nice and helpful. Javier, the son, speaks English so the the kids had no trouble communicating. The Jardin Secreto is a disco next door so Friday and Saturday nights are very noisy. We...

I was surprised to see the earlier reviews here. For the location, right in the centre of Cuzco, this hostal is excellent value for money. We stayed in the rear of the hotel which was free of traffic noise and had a bathroom. Has 24 hour hot water good sized room and the staff are friendly and helpful. True, they...

We had a private room, so maybe the dorms are better- but basically we got there, not a single person working there spoke English, and they couldnt even understand a word I said. I tried to book a transfer to the airport, but they had no idea what I was saying, so I had to go to a nearby hotel...

“There are rooms with private baths but the triple that has a bath right outside on the first floor is quieter. There is a travel group, money exchange, computer access and a small store available in the courtyard.”
