The location was fabulous and we could easily walk to all sites and many restaurants. Lovely garden and grounds welcomed you after a long day taking in the city. Loved the local weaving used as wall decor!

Very accommodating staff. Beautiful rooms with a lovely view high up overlooking Cuzco. El Balcon is within walking distance to the main plaza, shopping, and restaurants. We spent our first two nights at El Balcon, then traveled to Puno, and returned to Cuzco and El Balcon before heading to Lima. The staff helped us with all travel arrangements. We absolutely...

What a lovely place to stay in Cusco. Beautiful gardens to view and sit in. Comfortable dining room that is available for gathering any time. Delicious breakfasts and dinners. A special thank you to Juanita for her cooking and hospitality.

This boutique hotel in Cusco is the best deal around. It is cosy and friendly and excellent in all ways. We love the view from the balcony, the comfy beds, the hot showers and fresh towels and wash cloths. They provide a hair dryer, too. The rooms have wi-fi and large bottles of filtered water. They seem to have thought...

I loved staying at El Balcon. It was a fantastic experience. And I stayed for a total of 7 nights, so it wasn´t just in and out for me. Overall, the staff was very personable, knowledgable, accomodating and friendly. In the mornings, perhaps, my favorite part of staying there, the women in the kitchen were very helpful with breakfast, and...

Room was too small for two, had three beds, but no closet. Portable heater had to be brought in for warmth. The location was far from town center and involved a steep climb back up the street where hotel is located.

Located close to the center of town. ten minute walk. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Menu is minimal for choices but good. Nice private courtyard. I bit a of climb back from town especially at that altitude.

We booked this hotel for 2 nights before we walked the Inca Trail. When you enter the hotel the first impression is nice as it looks very cosy as it is an old building. The rooms where pretty simple, due to the structure of the hotel it is pretty noisy which is not so nice as customers who are going...

Very good. Recommendable. The only thing I can critisize is that the breakfast is a bit poor and the hot water from the shower takes long to turn warm. Overall a very recommendable hotel. I would visit again.
