We loved our stay at El Balcon for its location (a short walk from the touristy areas on a quiet street), the friendliness and helpfulness of the reception staff, and the setting—rustic, beautiful buildings and lovely gardens.

We transferred to El Balcon after spending our first night in Cusco at a noisy hotel close by. For just a few dollars more, it was like night and day difference, and after staying at El Albergue in Ollantaytambo, we knew this would be a good choice. We were given a very large room, the family room, with 2 separate...

Grounds, buildings, and rooms are beautiful and well maintained. Easy walking distance to Cusco main square attractions and restaurants. Front desk staff helped with taxis, money exchange, luggage storage, laundry and anything else we asked for. Our only complaint is the noise. We stayed in three rooms while there before and after our Inca Trail adventure – a beautiful balcony...

Excellent location, gentle walk just up the hill from the Plaza, and cracking views over the city from the beautiful garden. Very welcoming and helpful, everything ticks along without fuss. Cosy clean room, hot water, safe deposit box, quiet and restful, good breakfast - all for a very reasonable tariff. Ideal choice.

The hotel was a great value for a pleasant hotel in the Miraflores district! The staff was very helpful and informative of the offerings of the neighborhood. Great friendly staff. The hotel was clean and the rooms very comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and had a great variety. On our departure early in the am, the hotel provided a brown...

Thanks for your kind review, but you might have the wrong property? El Balcon is located in Cusco, not Miraflores. Regardless, we are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay in Peru!

This property is a true hidden gem! Upon entering you can see its charm with a beautiful garden and authentic decor. The rooms are clean & comfortable with a great breakfast. The location is good - close enough to walk to the Plaza de Armas, but not close enough for it to be overly loud at night. We really enjoyed...

This is a great property with tons of charm. You feel like your more at a resort than a hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful! Safe and secure place if you're traveling solo. Easy access to all tourist attractions.

Wonderful spacious rooms with comfy beds. On a quiet street, however in a great location, a 5 minute walk from the main square. What makes this place really stand out are the staff. All are very very lovely and helpful. When my partner got bad food poisoning the receptionist immediately organised a doctor, and when the chef saw that I...

Originally planned to stay two nights, extended to three. Loved that it was a small, quiet hotel with a beautiful garden. Welcoming and helpful staff. Great breakfast to start a full day of adventuring in Cusco. Luggage can be stored in hotel if you do overnight trips outside of Cusco.
