We stayed here for several nights as a base when travelling to Macchu Pichu, Sacred Valley and the Amazon. The motel is clean and the rooms quite spacious. The building is 300 or so years old and is an interesting piece of history but it means that some of the rooms are quite difficult to access. We found it to...

We've stayed at the hotel for several nights visiting Cusco, Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley. Location very good - just one block from Plaza de Armas. Very helpful staff, even if not everybody speaks english. Rooms - some nice enough, some very small with tiny bathroom and without windows, but clean. Very noisy (there were people - guests? -...

We've stayed at quite a few grand old hotels in Cuba and South America and the Royal Inka 1 is by far the best. The entrance and lobby to these hotels is usually the only part that's grand but the Royal Inka's rooms are in good repair too. They were clean and well serviced. The thick walls of our side...

Stayed here a couple of nights when visiting Cusco and Machu Picchu. Mostly great location. One block form the Cusco Plaza de Armas, very central area, close to several restaurants, stores, Discos, banks etc. Wi Fi is available, but very poor reception on the 3rd floor. Staff and is very friendly and helpful, no complains there. Rooms are spacious and...

Pros: Royal Inka is charming and in a great location. The employees are incredibly friendly overall. Breakfast is quite good and very substantial. Cons: Rooms are super noisy! I had an inner coutyard facing room w no outside window. Friend had outside room w balcony. Both were very noisy. Cleanliness of rooms is so-so and things are dated. But, you...

I spent two nights here one before and one after my trek. I had altitude sickness first night and the staff was very attentive. Glad they had some english language channels on TV. Once I recovered, I enjoyed its proximity to Plaza de Armas!

This hotel is in an excellant location. About one block from Plaza de Armas. If you get a room with a balcony on the front street you get a great view of the city and the tops of the churchs in the main plaza. The rooms are clean and the staff is helpfull if needed. I had a problem with...

After staying at the Royal Inka in Pisac, we had higher hopes for this urban property. Despite a friendly and helpful staff, we were disappointed with everything other than the generous healthy breakfast and the location, near the Plazas. The property is very oddly configured with many, many rooms not having windows or light. Others are squirrelled away in 1/2...

The Royal Inka is located on a charming little square right off the main square in the city. There is a lovely interior courtyard and a nice dining room. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. We were a mom and dad traveling with two teens and had a great big room with one king and two twins and TWO...

My group stayed here before and after a trip to Machu Picchu. Since we only took a small backpack for an overnight, we were able to keep our other luggage at the hotel. Most of our group even got the same room back when we returned. Several people have allergies to down and their bedding and pillows were quickly changed...
