My husband and I just spent one night (October 5, 2013) in this hotel. When we reserved it, it looked much nicer in the picture, so it was a disappointment when we arrived there. The room was very small and old. The old style TV set is placed in a dangerous way, so several times we were in risk of...

One block from Plaza de Armas, there couldn't be a more convenient base for Cusco. Coca tea always available in the lobby, helpful front desk staff, clean comfortable rooms opening onto an indoor atrium. The breakfast was good with made-to-order omelets and a variety of other hot and cold foods.

I booked this through an agent having had a look on trip advisor. I was extremely pleased with the choice. A beautiful building with a maze or corridors leading to the bedrooms on all floors. My room was spacious with a really comfy large bed. The bathroom was very clean and although the bath was a bot old the shower...

The location of this hotel is fantastic, located in plaza Regocijo which is 1 block from the plaza de armas. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were quiet, and the showers nice and warm. The breakfast however was terrible, the bread and pastries they served were stale. They served french fries and empanadas that were hard and uneatable. Overall...

After a few days in a nearby hostel, we were ready for a little less noise and a private bath. Royal Inka is located right on the Plaza Regocijo, a stone's throw from the mercado and plaza del armas in Cusco. the Plaza is a common meet-up for tour groups, so the hotel is super convenient, yet not noisy. the...

We left our first hotel in Cusco for this one because it was less expensive and far nicer! The staff are very good at making your stay more enjoyable. The breakfast here is amazing with custom omelets, fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, etc. The rooms are great value and quiet. Additionally, we had an issue which which resolved with...

We felt that the location was excellent - right next to the Plaza de Armas, making most tourist sights well within walking distance. There are provision shops all around so grocery and snacks are easily available. Restaurants are within walking distance too. Rooms are decently clean and sufficiently big. Although the breakfast spread isn't too bad - with servings of...

We stayed at Hotel Royal Inka 1 upon our return from the Inca Trail trek. We were exhausted and looking forward to a nice shower and a good meal, neither of which Royal Inka 1 offered. The front desk staff was unorganized with our check in and it took them over an hour to make copies of our passports. Granted...

I was pleased with my stay here during vacation in Peru. The building is quite old (Colonial) but in good repair and I thought it was charming with little indoor courtyards. The staff was very helpful in helping us call taxis when we needed them and loaned us a electrical converter so we could charge cell phones. The hotel is...

We stayed here for several nights as a base when travelling to Macchu Pichu, Sacred Valley and the Amazon. The motel is clean and the rooms quite spacious. The building is 300 or so years old and is an interesting piece of history but it means that some of the rooms are quite difficult to access. We found it to...
