I've come to Peru for the last four years. Last year a tour guide put us in a different hostel in Cusco. It was a welcome site to be at The Royal Inka front door this trip. Nice people, good food & tea, great breakfast. The food is made to order, so have time to enjoy the beautiful dinning room,...

After staying in a cold place up on the hill, we walked into Royal Inka and bargained our price for the next night's stay. We were so glad we switched. The whole place is very warm, you can feel the heat right when you walk into the lobby. Locationwise it's just next to the big plaza so it's closed to...

We went to see the hotel and they showed us a very nice and new room with a king sized bed, bath tub and all the fixins'. We decided to take it and reserved and payed for the room which we would take 2 nights later for 2 nights, since we were leaving later that day and staying in the...

We were met at the airport by a man who escorted us (in a taxi) to the hotel. Since we were going to Machu Picchu, he offered to stop to pick up our Machu Picchu and bus tickets on the way back from the airport. We deferred and he insisted we had to pick them up that day since the...

I'm amazed at the bad reviews for this hotel. We loved it, felt right at home, everybody (except one receptionist) was polite and friendly. The bathroom was clean, the bedroom large and airy with plenty of space for hanging clothes and although right near the street was quiet - perhaps due to double glazing. The breakfast was good. Fidel, our...

We moved here from a more standard tourist hotel as it had a great location one block from Plaza d' Armas but was quiet. The courtyards had character only an old mansion can provide. We had two, two story rooms with the old wooden balconies up front. The hotel deals mainly in Spanish with few non-South American guests, which was...

Lovely hotel in a great location...2 minutes walk from both the Plaza del Armas (the main plaza in Cusco) and San Pedro market. Had a room in the older part (there is an old part and a more modern part), with a balcony looking out ovr a smaller plaza where there was nearly always something going on! They have lots...

2 nights b&b here for Machu Picchu trip. Comfortable and attractive hotel, superb breakfast, staff friendly and helpful. The bar, dining, lounge and reception area is rather OTT but eyecatching. Loved the Inca head design wood-burning stoves, strategically placed lifesize models of llamas, etc! Very minor niggle: it can get slightly overheated and a bit airless, as the windows open...

First of all, I want to let you all know that this is my first TripAdvisor report and maybe my last. But if you are going to Cuzco, hopefully you will benefit by what I am telling you. This hotel deserves an A++++ in service. Why? Well considering that I was puking my guts out at a nearby restaurant, the...

We weren´t staying at this place, but after 6 weeks hard travelling around Peru, we thought it would be a good idea to relax in their bar with a scotch while we watched BBC news on the big screen. A notice said ´Happy Hour 6-8.00 pm´. We got to the bar at 7.45 but were told that happy hour didn´t...
