We were treated graciously by all staff from the moment we arrived. The hotel is two blocks from the Plaza de Armas. The interior spaces are very attractive, our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bed had a good mattress. We always had hot water. The breakfast buffet -- included with the room -- was absolutely fabulous and there...

Hotel Ruinas is a safe bet when staying in Cusco. The hotel is two blocks from the main square. The rooms are large. Heat may be a slight problem, but there are heaters in each room. The staff goes out of their way to help you with whatever you need from tours to taxis etc. The breakfast is full even...

We were a group of senior citizens having holiday two weeks round Cusco returning twice to this nice hotel. The whole staff was very friendly and public premises were clean and comfortable. Strongly recommendable.

We had our first night there as a stop over before Aguas Calientes our first room was two single beds so I was a bit dissappointed as we were travelling as a couple I did try and switch rooms but was told that the hotel was full for the night but when we returned...

We stayed at the hotel ruinas while on a holiday of a lifetime to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary - we had at this point already stayed in hotels in Arequipa and on Lake Titicaca - our room was on the 2nd floor with a view of rubbish filled back yards, but the view wasn't the problem. The room had...

This hotel was the most expensive for our trip to Peru but it was well worth it (3-star). Upon arrival, we started off well as we were welcomed with some coca tea to help with the altitude and vouchers for 2 free pisco sours to be used later at our leisure. The location was superb as it was 1 block...

I stayed here in 2004 and although I was reasonably comfortable the hotel lacks charm. It had a very modern sterile design and didn't have a lovely courtyard that many other hotels had. I had a smallish twin room that overlooked the roofs of the city. The room had a decent sized bathroom but the loo/toilet kept on blocking and...

A nice hotel, well-located in Cusco, only a few minutes walk from both the Plaza de Armas and the cobblestone lanes of San Blas. This is a modern hotel that does not try to be very stylish. We had no problem with the rather standard-looking design, but some people might find it a bit characterless. Our 2nd floor room had...
