We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The place is very quaint. The rooms are basic but very clean. Expect hard beds. The breakfast room was great and the food was outstanding. The location was excellent - close enough to walk to everything we wanted to do within the city.

The location is perfectly positioned just away from the busy square. Everything was tidy and clean and the beds are very comfortable. My only suggestion would be to avoid a room on the lower level by the entry courtyard as it's quite noisy. Wifi is very spotty.

This hotel is very quiet and safe and it has great character and excellent service. I stayed here with 11 college students and the staff were exceptional. The hotel is professionally run, the rooms are clean, and the location is perfect. I can't imagine finding anything better in Cusco and will undoubtedly return. Breakfast is also very good and they... More

Rumi Punku is a hidden gem in a mystical land. Upon arrival, guest are greeted with tea and asked to wait on a comfortable couch where the front desk comes to you! A brief greeting and a few signatures later, guest are whisked away to a beautifully decorated and clean room. Hard wood floors, comfortable beds and great mountain views... More

What more can I add to all the fabulous reviews? I Love, love, LOVE this hotel. Lovely and friendly staff, comfy rooms, nice breakfast, (choice of fruits and freshly squeezed juices, eggs made to order) and a beautiful tranquil courtyard. They also have a small computer room (4 computers) for accessing the internet and you can print through the front... More

Rumi Punku is a great hotel with wonderful staff. They are used to people coming to town to do the Inca Trail, and thus they are very flexible. We arrived at the airport at 6:30am and they picked us up and took us to the hotel. We were able to check into our rooms right away, which was great considering... More

We really like the hotel Rumi Punku. They are especially very flexible. We arrived at 5 in the morning and were already able to go in our rooms with no extra cost. The hotel is very safe, therefore we left our luggage there because we went on the Inca Trail for four days. Rooms are really nice, staff very friendly... More

While driving to the hotel on narrow cobblestone streets I didn't have high expectations. Especially when I saw the barred door in a cramped space. Then I walked through the door and felt I was in a completely different place. Just lovely with a little garden/seating area with a fountain, much larger area then I expected and just an elegant... Rumi Punku is a wonderfully charming escape from the hustle of Cusco. The hotel courtyard is hidden from the side street of one of the highlights of the San Blas area in Cusco. Pass through the classic Inca doorway and you will think you have been magically transported to Spanish colonial times. The series of small courtyards are clean, quiet... More

We stayed here both before and after our trip to Machu Picchu and could not be happier with the hotel and the staff. Very good location within a short walk to the plaza and restaurants, but on a quit street away from the traffic and noise. Good breakfast served early for those on a tight schedule as we were. They... More
