Great service. Rooms are a little small, but comfortable. The building is a little dated but that adds to it's charm. Perfectly located, close to everything. We would stay there again and certainly recommend it. Great value for the price. Raul Rivas

Stayed at Marquesas for two days prior to heading out on a trek in the Andes. Marquesas is quaint and comfortable. It's in a great location. They have coca tea and coffee available 24/7. The staff was friendly. The bag storage was convenient and helpful while we were on our hike. The not so good...Marquesas is a transition hotel for...

I stayed at this hotel as part of a package which I had booked through SAS Travel. I would probably not have booked it myself and after having spent 5 nights I can unfortunately not recommend the Marqueses. The hotel seems rather musty and dark and could do with freshening up. Although my booking was for a luxury room, the...

It is a lovely building and reasonably comfortable - positively luxurious compared to camping/trekking. However it can be cold so take plenty layers; the food was OK but had a tendency to be cold; and if you are not trekking you may be disturbed by those coming and going at odd hours of the day and night. It is in...

For the money they charge this fawlty towers type place is odd and not worth the money. You can hear everything that happens in the next room, the place is cold and the breakfast is frankly a tad stingy. Ok they did help find our washing and helped us with taxis but the service is odd and a bit boarding...

The rooms were lovely. I was part of a group of 13, staying here either end of trekking the Inca Trail. We had to sit in the courtyard to eat, which was very drafty and cold. Food was tasty but again was cold when it came to the table.

We stayed at Hotel Marqueses as we were taking an Inca Trail trek with the affiliated tour company SAS next door to the hotel, so it enabled us to be as close to live at the meeting point of our trek and get as much sleep as possible beforehand! The hotel is a 16th century colonial villa and this gives...

A lovely building, very centrally located - friendly and helpful staff, spacious rooms. Bathrooms not luxurious but all very serviceable and beds comfortable. Perhaps on the pricier side but it is a very attractive building. Cusco is not a warm place so make sure you bring plenty of layers, although they do have heaters in the rooms.

The hotel came and picked us up from the airport for free at 0430! Check in is supposed to be at 1100, but they made an exception for us and did everything our 5 star hotel in Mexico had done, carrying our luggage and bringing us complimentary coca tea. The receptionist and bell boys (man) English was fantastic, meaning my...

Our stay in Hotel Marqueses was very enjoyable. The building is charming with colonial Spanish architecture. The neighborhood is convenient for shopping and eating. The rooms comfortable and staff friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend if traveling with SAS travel due to proximity to the travel office and Incan Trail pick-up. Would stay here again!
