I stayed here for 5 days in March and can honestly say it blew me away. Service, location and room were all exemplary. I booked a room with oxygen and it REALLY helped with the altitude. There are a couple of great restaurants on the street in front of the hotel too. I never ate dinner at the Monasterio but...

Our stay at this hotel was fabulous! The accommodations were comfortable, clean and more than adequate. From the window we could see one of the two beautiful courtyards and a view of the houses up the mountainside. The restaurant gave super attentive service . The breakfast buffet was extensive. The monks who lived here would never have received such fine...

Hotel Belmond Monasterio is a stunning monastery conversion retaining the original chapel and original works of art The courtyard is inviting for coffee or "coca tea" which helps offset the altitude of Cusco.Clean nicely remodeled rooms offer a good nights rest. The restaurant is well run and the food and service were good Great staff.

As the same suggests, the hotel is an old monastery in the heart of the old city of Cusco. It is quite and well staffed, perhaps too well staffed. The hotel upgraded our room to the presidential suite, which was one of nicest rooms we have stayed in. Staff was friendly and attentive, sometimes to a fault. We also benefited...

This Belmond property is built in an ancient monastery, itself built on the ruins of an Inca temple. The hotel has preserved both aspects. The Chapel contains the original religious artworks, and the rest of the hotel has reproductions of the originals. It is sprawling, and built around beautiful courtyards, all in the heart of Cusco - very near the...

Hotel Monasterio is amazing. A former monastry it is situated very close to Plaza de Armas and offers a level of comfort and service second to none. The rooms are incredibly quiet and the atmosphere hauntingly beautiful, especially when the Gregorian monk sound track is playing. The best place we stayed in South America.

The area where we all checked in was spectacular. The hotel itself is very confusing, think they should hand out maps to find your way around. Someone led us to our room but to find our way independently was difficult. The center court is very lovely. Very easy walk down to the square (except for the altitude) Service in the...

The hotel has a space at the airport, so you are greeted as you pick up your bags and climb on the hotel bus(first class so far). You are seated in the bar area when you arrive and a staff member takes the normal checkin docs and pours you some local tea. Still 1st class. She then walks you to...
